Went on a recent Sunday to celebrate my birthday with family. Have been coming here for years and always enjoyed and even recently hosted my daughter’s baby shower. First time going on a Sunday. Service was terrible and when addressing it the with manager we were treated with complete disrespect and offended.

I loved this restaurant! I went with my boyfriend and sat outside and enjoyed the prettiest view. I also enjoyed that the service was prompt and that our waitress was very courteous. Finally, the food was delicious and was enough for leftovers, which I appreciated.

I have to say that no matter where you like to dine on Long Island, Cara Mia Due is one of the best places to eat. We have been going there for years and it never disappoints.
Everything on the menu is great, and so are the cocktails. Last nights dinner inspired me to write this review because my wife and I loved the meal and experience from start to finish. We sat outside and was served by Danielle who we have been served by before. She and the rest of the team there are very good at their job and make sure you are doing well throughout the night. Unlike other restaurants where these days servers and bussers expect to hand you your drinks and dinner or want help from you to bus the table by handing them empty dishes, at Cara Mia you are fully served and get to sit back and enjoy your meal and company.
Last night we had the “Mussels Oreganato”as an appetizer, my wife had her favorite “Sergio’s Pork Chop”, and I had “Chicken Diablo”. All Fantastic.

Classic Italian, well established restaurant. A small place, cozy and personal, nicely decorated, and table cloths makes this place stand out. Your water glass is never left empty! We lived down the block, it was convenient and frequently ate here but have moved away now and took the ride, but unfortunately we'll think twice about making the trip again.
The acoustic are terrible, you can't hear the people at your table unless you want to compete with everyone else in the restaurant, which causes the problem in the first place.
The Calamari Arrabbiata, was not up to par... Very little sauce, made it dry, but also a little too chewy to recommend (probably will not get again either).
Oh one more critical opinion before I get to the two excellent meals we had. Only two entrees were brought out and it took forever for the other two in our party to get theirs. This happens quite often in some other restaurants, and I haven't noticed it here in the past, hopefully it was just a one time occurrence. I want to believe the two Sicilian dishes we were waiting for were having something special done to them, because they are unique and so delicious! If you like chicken parm. and eggplant parm, this is the perfect "marriage"...a must try. Also another cool alternative to chicken caprese is the grilled chicken bruschetta, super tender nice balsamic flavor, so good! ( See pics of both of these entrees)
Ahhh, we had the small hot antipasto and overall it was pretty good, but small is "small" I guess(for example, one shrimp, one clam) and lots of breading on top, still could be a good choice. Check out their menu for lots of other food choices!

First time here and had a fabulous lunch. When we first walked in we were professionally greeted by Jose. He was our waiter and he was awesome. The food was delicious and we will be back. Our current italian go to rest. , up the block from us , has such a limited menu and has gotten old. The menu here has better choices and we can't wait to go back to try the other items on the menu. And we felt the prices were not as high as other places that serve you less food.

Had dinner for the first time at Cara Mia in Seaford. The appetizer, the Salumi Board, was ok. It was a little light on the food for the price you pay. Only a few slices of dried sausage, a tiny bit of mozzarella, and some slices of cheeses. Could have used some olives, but I guess you can't have everything. For the main course, I had the chicken scarpallelo. The sauce was very good. There were a lot of pieces of sausage, potatoes, and a little bit of chicken. I expected more chicken since its title of the dish. The overall dish was good. The service was impeccable. They were down a server, but impressively, the waitress we had was very attentive. Bravo for her! All in all, Cara Mia has been around for some time. The food is good but the portions could be better.
