Nice spot on the water. Not a very formal place and limited options that are not seafood. Good drinks and place to go for dinner or just drinks

I've dined at Anchor Down Dockside twice now. The seafood here is excellent. Last time I came here, I had the Montauk Fluke Oreganata which was delicious. The restaurant is located right on the water. You can't beat the view here.

On a beautiful summer afternoon, we were looking for a place to dine on the water. We have our usual haunts, but we were looking for a new place. We decided to try anchor down Dockside. It is a charming atmosphere on the canals in Seaford. We tried the Cajun Main lobster bites. These were delicious fried pieces of lobster with pickles and arugula. This was delicious and different, and I would order these again without hesitating. We ordered the muscles with the Thai coconut curry. They were delicious with a milde spicy flavor. Once again, it was delicious and something I would order again. We also ordered the fish taco platter. This, to me, was a bit forgettable. We ordered the platter so we could get fries and was told the wrong price by the waitress. We didn't make a big deal about this, but I wouldn't order this again

Food sparce and not very good (fries were good) and expensive. I had a salmon burger and fries and tea my friends had similar sandwiches and we were all still hungry when we left. All for $150.00

Beautiful setting on the marina. Food is very good. Service is very good. Have been here twice now. Only downside is that it is very pricey for the amount of food you get, and very, very pricey for drinks. You don’t be taking home any leftovers, and dinner for two with no appetizer or desert and one drink each was $100 before gratuity.
Mahi and monk fish were very good. Service was very good. I would definitely stay away from the tuna entree. The wasabi aioli tasted like absolutely nothing, there was way too much of the overly sweet asian glaze, and the tuna was over cooked and had poor sesame crusting. Final note is on the appetizer salads. They are very basic and significantly over priced for what they are.

The food is mediocre. It's a gamble, things can be overcooked or undercooked. The service from the time your order is taken is practically non existent. You have to call someone over for a refill or water. No plates with appetizers you have to ask for those too when you get them they rudely drop them on the table and are still wet. You even have to ask for more napkins since they use paper and assume one is enough per person for an entire meal. We haven't been here in years but gave it a shot twice now to see if things are better. Unfortunately it was not I can't ever see us having a reason to go back. We haven't been to the one in Merrick in a while and after this experience we won't take the chance with it.

Love this restaurant! The lobster special is out of this world! And the watermelon salad is delicious! My only suggestion is for the baked clams oreganoto- needs more Italian flavor- garlic, oil, & parsley! The service & atmoshere are delightful! The prices are very reasonable!???
