The Restaurant was shut down because of a fire. OpenTable allowed me to book a reservation. When myself and multiple guests arrived it was closed. OpenTable shouldn't have allowed us to book a table at a place which was closed almost a month prior.
Puglia's needs to take responsibility for communicating with Open Table. We reserved a table for our anniversary through Open Table and it was confirmed. When we arrived there were tables and chairs stacked up blocking the rear entrance to Puglia's, which is where you go in from the parking lot. We were informed by some people who were working outside that the restaurant was closed for renovation. Very poor business practice for a restaurant not to inform their reservation booking agent that they are closed.

Being a vegetarian it's difficult to eat out sometimes.. I have been there many and the food is fresh and ambiance is just right . Impeccable service . Highly recommend

We have eaten there several times. Service is excellent. The staff is very attentive. Food is always delicious. It's nice to go with the family. We e sat outside and enjoyed the space.

Service was good food marginal. No flavor on my pasta dish. Keep adding cheese and that didn't help. Another pasta dish was swimming in oil. Like pasta soup. Wedge salad was crazy huge and good but that's an easy one not to mess up.

Everything we were served was very good. The only disappointment was the size of the long bone veal chop and the amount of fat on it. It was not worth $55 in my opinion. Will never order that again.

A classic restaurant, with not so good Italian classics...the calamari was greasy, the stuffed artichoke was not cooked enough, too bad for a landmark name like Puglia's!NYC has always been a family favorite since the 1950's to be exact so let that tell you how much we like this place. I just like to tell it like it is though when we visited their Seaford location.However, the shrimp oregano was great over angel hair pasta, chicken caprese is delish(a little small this time, see pic), the custom cavatelli with sausage broccoli rabe, chicken and alavodka gravy are all a must try ( this one not on the menu so just ask for it, you'll love it), our server was a little overwhelmed by us ordering apps and a drink at the same time(seamed odd), ended up forgetting to take drink order, and then got lost couldn't find her to order dessert, forgot to bring our dessert shot too! Yeah one other important detail to make note is that this place is very loud, You can hear the person across the table easier in Yankee Stadium! Oh well overall we enjoyed our meal, the server was pleasant and friendly gave us plenty attention(just disappeared a couple times right when we needed her). Please give this place a try anyway, all our entrees were quite good.

Been here many times, food always good, wait staff is ok. Not happy on this trip. We ordered baked clams for appetizers, they were served on littleneck clams! They are about the size of a quarter, no bigger. Why not serve them on regular sized clams (like they're supposed to be) and raise the price a few dollars.

We have been meaning to try for some time, finally got around to it and boy, regret waiting.Food and service were excellent. We had the baked clams, which were super fresh and tasty, long bone veal chop, cooked to perfect temp and excellent, and steamed while lobster, also cooked perfectly. For dessert, pistachio tartufo and one of the banana desserts (forgot name, served i a pastry bun, salted caramel ice cream, carmelized banana, etc.), which was one of the best desserts we've had.Jamie, who was our waiter was fabulous!

Went to puglias last night for a family members birthday .. they had a 35.99 special consisting of appetizer, entree and desert. The choices were great and the portions a very nice size . The fried zucchini was delicious as were the mussels in a spicy sauce...one person had the pasta in vodka sauce with chicken and loved it ...atmosphere is nice , service good ...parking in the lot behind the restaurant available...I would say all in all it was a great value for what they charged and really very delicious as well .they even brought the desert with a flaming candle and the whole place sang happy birthday...I would definitely go again
