Great atmosphere and service team is VERY friendly. Was not impressed with the food: - Steak on my salad could have been better but the salad greens only delicious. - My kids gave up their burgers halfway in (not a good sign). - Their potato salad was amazing. - Seafood was ok, was not impressed/tempted
Service is wonderful. Quality renovations were done. Food is fresh and always seems to have a special twist that makes it unique and memorable. Prices reasonable - highly recommend!!!

Went yesterday as a group of 5 for an early happy hour in the bar and then outside on the sun drenched deck for dinner. The waitstaff is amazing - bartender, waitress and bus boy. All kind, attentive and very professional. Everything we ordered from the martini to cocktails and pretzel sticks were excellent and all our dinners (especially those amazing fries) were delicious. From the baked clams, to the daily special, lobster roll and on to the swordfish tacos. Will definitely be back after such a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We sat outside next to the canal as the sun was setting after choosing this restaurant. The waitress, Jen, was kind, patient and knowledgeable. We ordered and received a significant serving of the MOST delicious fish and chips ever. Our snickerdoodle dessert was phenomenal. The coffee was a hot, delicious brew in a large cup. We can't wait to go back again.

The White Whale is a fantastic new addition to Seaford! Located right by the water, the setting is absolutely stunning and gives you that perfect coastal vibe the moment you walk in. The space itself is beautifully designed—bright, open, and welcoming, with attention to every detail. The menu is creative yet approachable, offering a great variety of options for all tastes. I ordered the wedge salad to start and it was crisp, fresh, and full of flavor. For my main dish, I tried the lobster pasta and it was outstanding—perfectly cooked pasta, tender lobster, and a sauce that was rich but not overwhelming. On top of that, the bar area is absolutely beautiful and the perfect spot to hang out with friends while enjoying a cocktail or two. Everything was plated beautifully and the service matched the quality of the food. I highly recommend The White Whale!

Had the fish and chips and carrot cake for dessert. Came with my husband and infant daughter and they were so friendly. Jenny was our server. Prompt service. My husband had the double smash burger. The food was incredibly good. Will definitely be frequenting this place! Very clean! Big restrooms equipped with changing tray and toilet and urinal in each restroom.

Disappointing Experience at The White Whale ​I was really looking forward to trying The White Whale, but unfortunately, my visit left me disappointed. ​I ordered the lobster, and while I appreciate the effort, the portion of lobster meat was surprisingly small for the price. It felt like there was barely any lobster in the dish. ​I also ordered the clam linguine, which was the other major letdown. The dish lacked flavor and didn't taste fresh at all. It was bland and lacked the savory, garlicky taste you'd expect from a good clam linguine. ​While the location and atmosphere were nice, the food simply didn't live up to expectations. For a restaurant that prides itself on seafood, the quality of the dishes was very underwhelming. I hope they can improve the portion sizes and the taste of their pasta dishes in the future.

​I was really looking forward to trying The White Whale, but unfortunately, my visit left me disappointed.
