I love this checkers. Does anyone know why it is closed and when/if it will reopen?

I’ve visited this Checkers several times with each resulting in a pleasant experience both with food and service. However, around 630 pm on 11/21, my experience was not what I hoped for. Once I arrived home and began eating my cheese champ I removed a hair from my mouth, that in no way could have been mine. It was over 6 inches long and my hair is a pixie cut. I couldn’t continue eating. I phoned Checkers, left a message asking if I could bring it back for a fresh sandwich that night or have a replacement sandwich another day. I left my phone number — they never returned my call. I waited a few days, called again and left another message. I waited about a week after that and still nothing. I planned to write this review earlier yet time got away from me. I don’t know if I’m more disappointed by the hair in my food or by the lack of care for their customers by never responding.

At first look the building brought me back in time from an era I remember from my teenage years. I then noticed the walls are falling apart, rust is visible at the take out window and this building is from my childhood. This building does take me back in time because it's never been modernized. With that said, I am not one to judge fast food by its outdated infrastructure but by its food. I bought the classic cheeseburger with fries and a coke. The coke was nice, however nothing else was tasty. The fries were soaked in grease and soggy, the burger was dry and flavorless. The staff were nice and easy to communicate with. But besides this aspect I am not one to ever go back.

Very gross. Ceiling is unsanitary, has what looks like extensive water damage and mold. Food takes forever and employees are seriously rude almost every time I go. If you go up to the in store window you will wait forever for anyone to notice you.

it is definitely one of my favorite places !! the best potatoes, and best of all: the banana shake, it's the best I've ever had in my life and I'm not exaggerating.

Always love the fries and today was cool, something small but notable. The lady that served me saw that I dropped my straw in the car and she gave me another one. It's the little nice thing with that help our days ?

Usually always get fish or mothercruncher we got the $5.00 deal burger was fair

I took my son for something to eat and when we got home it looks like something is swimming in his drink this is disgusting

I was disappointed this time. I ordered 2 crispy fish, a large fry and a strawberry milkshake (they were out of first choice of cherry coke).The shake was only good part of meal. I paid extra to have cheese and tomato added to both sandwiches. Both pieces of fish were extremely hard around edges. They had been over cooked and/or left in warming tray too long. I could not eat either sandwich.The French fries were older and most of order was bits and pieces.
