Hi this is Tom the son of the owner of Main City. We’d like to thank all of the loyal customers for your 20+ years of supporting our restaurant. Unfortunately due to the pandemic and the financial loss that we incurred my Dad could no longer sustain the running the business on top of old age Making him more susceptible to the virus . These 5 Stars are not for us but for all the wonderful customers and friends that we have made over the years that felt like family( Mary,Joe,Frank and wife, my sweet Elvis lady and family, Sheriff Joe and so many more . Went here for years and years and always loved the food, and the people. Before the pandemic they started charging for using a credit card. That part I get,but we were never told and the credit card company said the only way they can add a fee is if it is posted or telling you before they ring you up. Sad be cause they lost about 80 dollars a month from us.

Very consistent and the general tso chicken is actual chicken not that canned trash you usually get. Keep up the good work.

Fresh cuisine

My family has been going to this one in Selden for like 15 years. Hands down our favorite. Ever since one night we got delivery from great wall and my mom tripped and dropped the food, hurt her knee and the guys first reaction was to say " not our fault, you have to pay to replace". So we switched to main city and never thought another one was better. Now anytime someone else gets it from great wall or anything else I think it's practically flavorless compared to everything from main city being consistently delicious and on point.

Love this family, got to know everyone growing up here, they have great food, good prices, and treat their customers very well. Probably getting them for dinner tonight!

My mom and dad has been going here ever since me and my brother were kids. This was, and still is the place to go to when we would pick up food on the go every Friday night. Food is great, and I never had any issues in regards to the quality of the food. Inside isn't dressed up us a 5 star restaurant (has a few tables to sit down and that's really it), but let's be honest...who really sits in when ordering chinese? You're in and out. Service is good, food is great, and if you're in the area craving some Chinese, you can't go wrong with Main City.
