Ordered catering from them for a summer party. Food was delicious!! Asked them to drop the food off at 4, they were at my door exactly on time! Guy who dropped off the food was very nice and even helped us set up. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

Absolutely fantastic deli – a true hidden gem…
Tucked away in a low-key shopping center, this deli is one of the cleanest establishments I’ve ever stepped into, spotless from top to bottom. The owners are incredibly hands-on, and it shows in every detail. From the quality of the food to the warm, welcoming atmosphere, everything is top notch. You can tell they take pride in their business, and it truly makes a difference. Highly recommend stopping by!

This is not a bagel store. Worse bagels. To gummy and under cooked . Plus they barely put butter on the bagel. Got 2 bagels one with butter and one cream cheese and a blueberry muffin and small coffee was $14.

If someone asked me where there was an unknown gem of a deli, Zara's deli would be it!! Great staff, great food. What else could you ask for?? They care about their customers. You feel like family when ordering, or eating a sandwich there. Don't knock em till you try em.

After the excellent write up about their bagels in Newsday, we took a ride there (out of our way). This is NOT a bagel store though their sign advertised it was, just a deli. The bagels are store bought; they’re awful-tasteless and dry. I had a cinnamon raisin and my husband a poppyseed bagel. The “butter” was distasteful. The coffee tasted old and stale. This is the worst “bagel” store we’ve been in all fold. Newsday: I don’t know who’s writing the reviews, but this is not their first untruthful review!!!

cold cuts very good , quality very good. I order from here everyday because of that but the only reason im leaving 3 stars is this. Who ever is making the sandwiches should know you put mayo on the bread not on the cold cut. the mayo on the sandwich is ALWAYS spread unevenly. It ruins it. The reason people get mayo is to make the bread not dry .... Its sandwich 101.

I just ordered the Ballfield-Chicken Cutlet, Bacon, Melted Swiss, Onion Rings, Russian dressing on Garlic Hero , It was the best Hero I have had in a long time. It was packed with Cutlets and was so filling I ate half then a few hours later ate the other half. I will def go back for another order soon.

So glad my friend recommended this hidden jewel! Zara’s is the best deli around. You can get iconic New York bagels and sandwiches that rival those from NY City! So, whether you are getting breakfast or lunch (or saving your order for dinner) call or go to Zara’s. You won’t be disappointed!

Dietary restrictions: You can customize anything you want. Ask for what you want, they have many options.

Parking: Small strip mall behind a 7-11, with plenty of parking.

Amazing experience with the owner.
Long story short, my husband picked up lunch for us. They misunderstood what my husband ordered and gave him a breakfast sandwich instead of the deli lunch sandwich I wanted. When he got home and I opened it I was disappointed in the quality of the sandwich, not know at the time they made a standard breakfast sandwich. I called to ask why there was barely any Turkey on my sandwich and that i wasn't happy (I was having a bad day)
And the owner called me back to make it right. Not only was he so understanding to why I even called, he wanted to make it right and had my order remade and delivered it to my house. It was the first time we had ever ordered from there and could have easily been the last BUT it was just a misunderstanding and the owner was so amazing and nice about it. The sandwich I orders was delicious and I will be back next week to try something new!
Not many people conduct their businesses like this these days so I was so pleased with the interaction. I've never called to complain about food before , and I get a little silly doing it but now I'm happy I did because I can support a local business and felt compelled to write a review to recommend them to everyone in the area too!!!
