Deerhead Restaurant & Bar

Deerhead was a long time staple of the "lower lake road' neighborhood. I've eaten there many times and enjoyed it. They changed hands perhaps two years ago, and closed in spring 2020, I presume a victim of Covid. The For Sale is still on the building, I drove by today.

Scenic drive up the lake. Usually bustling with locals. Great Reuben sandwich and hearty fare. Go a little late for lunch and sit by the window overlooking the lake.

I ordered the Parm Crusted Chicken. ? It was probably the best dinner I've ever had there. The roasted vegetables were seasoned perfectly, had so much flavor. Will definitely be going back again. ?

We had an absolute blast tonight. Our previous experience was not so good we decided to give it another try. Many changes were made since our last experience. I had the pork chop and it was delicious. We will definitely be back. Felicity was our waitress she was very knowledgeable and attentive. She give us great suggestions and was always smiling!

Services was great! And the food was amazing. I would definitely go back. P.S. the cheese curds were YUMMY

Great place, great food. Cooks did an excellent job and the wait staff was nice and easy going.

After spending $71.95 on dinner.. we decided when we were sitting there to never come here again. Terrible food, cold $25.00 queen cut prime rib and the 2 sides also..my chicken parm was dry, the pasta was wrong and cold..asked for honey jack and got evan Williams honey...not good. We used to love this place, not anymore ☹??

We loved this place SO MUCH! Our new go to when traveling theu NY. Loved the salad bar, the eggplant stacks were delicious! Best broccoli soup I've had in years!

Have been coming here on an annual basis for several years and have noticed a downward trend in service and food quality.

Had dinner at restaurant for my son’s graduation dinner after graduating as a DR. From the minute we walked in service was awesome. We had a party of 6. Restaurant was crowded, and service was great. Food was hot, delicious and waitress was very accommodating. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. If in the area please stop.

Good food & Fantastic service! They stayed open an hour passed closing to give my son a complimentary cake & song for his birthday! Highly recommend!

The Deerhead takes you to a classic time where all things were simpler and always genuine. Solid food and service to make your requests happen just right. The view is terrific, and worth a stop for drinks and a good meal.
