Used to love them. they close unexpectedly before 6 on a Friday night when they are supposed to be open until 7. The sandwiches, especially focaccia have been going downhill now that they aren't wrapped (dry) but are in cardboard boxes. Won’t be ordering again.

First, I order from here quite a bit. Never had a problem. Today, I ordered the lunch special- "Chicken Broccoli Alfredo". What arrived to me was definitely not that. More like chicken and dumplings on mushy mushy noodles. It was horrible. My coworker said the same thing but was somehow able to eat hers. I called to complain and ask if we had gotten the wrong thing only to be told that no, this is correct. It has carrots and little red peppers in it. Barely any chicken and the broccoli was incredibly mushy, though not quite as bad as the noodles. The only way they would refund (or I even volunteered to get put on a list for another lunch a different day) was by sending someone out to collect it. Gross. But since I didn't eat it, go for it. I ordered sandwiches also and didn't ask for a refund on those so I can't believe they thought I was lying but the fact that they're gonna pay someone to come all the way back and collect it is weird. And super off putting. I will never order again. Now both my coworker and I are not feeling great. Don't EVER order chicken and broccoli Alfredo. And just keep in mind the owner has crappy customer service skills if that's how she treats people who have ordered many times before and have never received a complaint.

Used to be a great place Except for one particular person. The sandwiches are great but this one woman is there all the time and I thought she was the owner.., but doubt it, as she’s rude and getting ruder. Everytime I’ve seen her over the months. Been stopping by at least two years. Sorry to comment but my companion who has gone here for a decade said she will not be back due to this headache of a supervisor- who was also mean to her helper in the kitchen. Our sandwiches were less than stellar too. She practically just threw them at us. Great menu !! But this can’t be the owner acting mean and rude Thursday 6:15pm. 29 Aug.

Downtown Deli felt like home with a twist of ambiance including a whole crew of hostesses (every employee greets you); personal chefs, and barista's: I recommend everything on the menu. It was my first time visiting, a business meeting brought me to this area. I will be visiting for the beauty of your community and hospitality and kindness of those I met. Vegetarian options: Great Hummus wrap and Veggie sub. Also a portobello speciality sandwich which is very good. Several options for the vegetarian. They also have a lentil vegan soup sometimes which I love.

Been ordering here for years as I live locally, however, I will not be eating any food from here anymore! Ordered 3 subs and 2 drinks this week, totaling almost $60… ok no problem! Received subs and when I sat down to eat it, roast beef was gray and foul smelling- the meat was totally and obviously spoiled! Who on earth would put gray meat on a cold sub and serve it? A worker at the deli that’s who! I couldn’t believe it! I was sick to my stomach at the sight alone! When I called to lodge a complaint, they actually asked me to return the sub and that they would make me a new one. No thanks I said, I lost my appetite! Still waiting on my refund btw and this happened 4 days ago. After dining here for the last decade, no more! I’m never going back and I suggest you do not either!
