I started choking to death on some toughmeat that they were serving. There was practically no one there. I called out the water / owner to bring a glass of water as I was choking on the food and gaspingvery loudly for air . He got the water and was bringing it, but stopped to chat for a few minutes with some other customers on the, and then finally brought the water along. I know he had a problem with a motorcycle that was suspended above the bar tat fell and caused some damage. Before him the owners had an unusual fireplace that he ripped out of there. I did end up throwing up in the napkin and I am sorry about that.

It was not what we were expecting. The food had no flavor, and the pulled pork was dry! Service was meh. The girls were nice, but they forgot the BBQ sauce twice, and when we asked about it because the sandwich was dry, they never brought it, and the food could not be finished.
Wings were good. However, the entrees did not have flavor and needed salt to help. Sandwich was dry.

A nice casual restaurant which has plenty of seating both inside and outdoors. Patio is included. Pet friendly outdoors. Besides providing the patio J Roccos offers a spacious out door dining experience which includes a fire pit tables and it surrounded by wooded trees and the ever so popular Espus Creek. We opted to sit outdoors close by the creek. We were welcomed promptly after arriving and seated. The server explained how to place an order. A large chalk board is provided out doors as well as indoor also server will offer tge specials of the day. A full menu with plenty of options to choose from is included on the board. Dinner entrees include 2 sides and a trip to the salad bar. I was excited about the salad bar seeing as salad bars seem to have become a thing of the past in many restaurants ever since covid. The salad bar offered many fresh veggies as everything was nice and fresh. I loved the argula lettuce. After order was placed our drinks and food came out fast and efficient. Pricing is excellent as well as food. I highly reccomend the bbq ribs half rack entree. Extremely tender bbq sauce was delicious and the slaw French fries were a good choice. Delicious. I had a nice ice cold beer on tap which hit the spot and paired well with the entree. My partner had a strip steak and would highly reccomend his entree. The server was fast but at the same time took time with us and we appreciated her educating us about the georgeous Espus Creek. We both were to full to have tried the desserts the restaurant had offered. This restaurant is a popular place for the local people to come. And I can see why. I love the put door setting including the awesome fire pit. Relaxing and lovely. You should visit J Roccos visiting the area. They do not disappoint! Thank you J Roccos for the upmost pleasurable dining experience. We hope to dine with you again next time we visit the Catskills.

The spicy honey wings are so perfect I ate them as my whole dinner! Everything was cooked perfectly and our waitress this evening was so sweet! 10 out of 10 perfect!

What an awesome stop for lunch! Delicious food, great atmosphere and view, wonderful service. Husband had fish and chips and said it was top he’s ever had. Highly recommend!
