Upon visiting Bullthistle Brewing Company in Sherburne, we encountered a disappointing experience. Despite perusing the menu and selecting our flatbreads, we're unaware of the requirement to order at the bar due to the inconspicuous one foot x one foot sign. We sat for an additional 20 minutes with no staff member informing us of the protocol. Even though the bar employee glanced at us multiple times, we were left feeling ignored and decided to leave. With only two other couples present, a simple announcement to "order at the bar" would have sufficed. While I may consider giving it another chance, my suggestion would be to include the "order at the bar" instruction on the menu for clarity. It's a regrettable situation, but a lesson learned to avoid places with such unpleasant attitudes.

Solid brew, good selection of guest taps, great merch, and awesome atmosphere. Food is solid, and the owner is stoic but friendly and loves to talk about brewing beer.

Charles was great host. It's a no-frills place that'll give you bang for your buck. Soups, salads, sandwiches, our party had them all and all enjoyed. I will be back. Try the Strong Willed.

First time trying to eat here. Unfortunately when we arrived we missed the one foot x one foot painted sign that says "order food at the bar." We sat at a table, looked over the menu and picked our flatbreads. We sat there for another 20 minutes with no one telling us to order at the bar. After the employee at the bar looked over at us for the six time we decided to leave. It wasn't a busy night, only two other couples at the bar I don'tthink it would have been hard to shout over "come to the bar to order." I might try it again. Suggestion.. put the "order at the bar" on your menu.
