This is a great little place and an antidote to chain restaurants. The bonus is that they have a wide variety of desserts and baked goods, some wrapped for sale at the register. The servers are unfailingly polite. My mom really liked her soup and could tell the high quality of the ham in it. The prices are extremely reasonable. They have crinkle cut fries, which are my least favorite.
I originally just bought something from the bakery, got back in the truck, ate half of my pastry and then said what the heck, I might as well get lunch! Well, I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich and it was fantastic! REAL roast beef chunks, not slices and delicious dark gravy over a slice of thick Amish bread and crispy fries. My waitress was a peach although I didn't get her name. (Dressed Mennonite rather than Amish I think.) Just let me say...
Joined friends for lunch today. I had the Big Mac salad. It was delicious. The greens were fresh, the meat juicey, and the fries crispy. Corner Stone s a very friendly and relaxing place. I wish I lived closer.
