I walked in desiring a sandwich advertised on their website. The help, who were very weak with English, did not know what the sandwiches on their website were so i asked for a current menu in the store. When they presented me with the menu i chose my sandwich, which had a totally different name, and they made my sandwich. But when they rang it up the price was about 50% more than their in store menu said. I found that unacceptable and walked out without completing the purchase. The net was they put effort into creating but got stuck with a custom sandwich. This is no way to run a business. I am declaring war on them and any other business (e.g. Carlos Pizza) I encounter who cannot present me with accurate product information until i check out. I ask all who read this to join me to send a message. I am also escalating to Suffolk County Bureau of Consumer Affairs to challenge this “new business rule” that vendors do not have to provide accurate product information until the point of check out.

I’ve been coming here for many years and recently it’s just not the same, not sure if there was a change of ownership but everytime I order, something is out of stock, it’s always just an excuse. I’ve called three separate times first time they were out of bread , The second time I called they didn’t have hamburger meat (wtf??) and the last time I called the frier was already off at 6pm lol it WAS an amazing place but idk what happened, don’t waste your time if you’re hungry

Great sandwiches. Cool little shop. Best of all the worker who rang me up seemed to get a chuckle helping out the security who were sticking it to the a-holes making a fuss over at the beer distributor up the road.
Nice shop I'd stop in again if I ever made it back up this way.

I love this deli. Even left my info for the help wanted sign. Just was disappointed to order one over easy egg with bacon and received a 2 egg fried with cheese and bacon. Still will eat there though regardless as people make mistakes.
Best egg and ham on a hard roll on Long Island.
