Love this place and have ordered and probably will order for years, half out of convenience, but the chicken recipe and cook time has got to change. It's not raw, but the inside is just a kind of flavorless juice that is more eww than delicious.Also, I can't afford to do lunch here anymore, beyond $10 is not lunch, it's dinner pricing-- But that's my problem, I understand inflation isn't solely the buyers problem.
Have eaten here many times from steam table. Sides are generally good in size and quality. But they ALWAYS over cook the fried chicken. Or else it has been reheated. Occasionally arrive just as some fresh comes out, or will wait a few minutes to for it to be ready. It can be so good and juicy, but most of the time it is overcooked, dried out and gross. The quality has declined quite a bit and it’s just carelessness/bad kitchen management. I have been a frequent/weekly customer....
I had the pulled chicken on a bun with melted cheddar and mac and cheese. My partner had the southwest salad with roasted chicken. I'm giving 5 stars because the chicken was delicious on both the salad and my sandwich. (I had a little of the amazing salad - omg).The mac and cheese - I was not a fan of at all. It was very bland.
