Cattleman's Steakhouse and Lounge

Been trying to make a reservation for 3 days. If I am not kicked off the line. No one answers the phone. 3/10/23

Their wings were by far the best we've had in a long time would 100% go solely for the wings but if you do that you would miss out on the even better steak offerings. Friday and Saturday Prime Rib was delicious and the Rib eye was just as good. Cooked to each of our tastes perfectly. Alexis our server was really sweet and accommodating! Appetizers to sides were great, this restaurant is really a gem.

Excellent service, our waitress Alexis, was very attentive and went above and beyond. Food was exceptional. Will definitely come back!

We arrived around 5pm there was 2 booths seated were asked if we had reservations? Every other table. Booth, was available. We were taken to the bar. That was a no then we were seated by the worst seat in the restaurant by the back door and the dance floor and the kitchen area while there again was empty tables and booths. The restaurant was colder inside then outside had to ask our waitress if the heat was working she agreed it was extremely cold in there for this particular day. She asked the owner to put the heat up for us but wasn't successful during our whole visit. I ordered the French onion soup, my husband got the onion ring and nachos as appetizers. The French onion soup is not home made it is made from a bullion type base and it was so concentrated that it actually irritated my throat I couldn't eat it as you could imagine. Let the waitress know and she brought it back to them and informed me that yes they agreed it had to be fixed(watered down) . I ordered the honey salmon with potato and green beans my husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries. I recieved the wrong order I got tuna with rice pilaf and cole slaw. And the tuna was cold thank god it wasn't mine . When we recieved our food it at the best was Luke warm. The baked potato was the best thing of this whole visit. It truly is sad because in this area we really need a good place to go and eat and I'm not sure if it was a bad night but , I can say the young ladies who helped us were at least very pleasant and had a smile the whole time we were there. I can say this won't be a place for my first picks. We did contact the server and the people while we were there so it wasn't like we didn't try to speak with someone. Our waitress also left and we were notified during the time she had to leave. Not trying to do what you are saying just speaking what exactly happened.

Vegetarian options: Did not see any

Oredered two ribeye steaks with side dishes!....And In conclusion Cattleman's Steakhouse in Sidney New York is the premier location for fine dinning! Shot out to Hayley, Shawn (especially the cooks) along with the whole Cattleman's staff. Excellent Service! Great Atmosphere! Highly Suggested!?????

There is an odd stench when you walk in. The food was decent and the wait staff was pleasant. However when the bill came we were told that they had just installed a new POS system and it wasn't working, they were only accepting cash payments. Luckily we had enough cash on us, otherwise we would have to go to the ATM at the bank across the parking lot.

Who puts 1000 Island dressing on Nachos? Even when I addressed the sauce our chicken BBQ bowl also had 1000 islands dressing on the rice. Paid $120 after tip for 3 people to take 2 bites of their food and not bring any home. Only reason I tipped is because the waitress was sweet and it wasn't her fault we felt bad for her.

July 27, 2022-Called the day prior and had to leave a message for a reservation-message was never returned. Called again the following day and made a reservation for 6 pm. Upon arrival, waitress scrambled to give us a table. Terrible meal. The only thing that was good was the steak and the ginger ale. The salad was all lettuce, three pieces of diced tomato that was soured-tiny cucumbers. Our coconut shrimp was wayyyyyy over cooked, but came out on greens that were way better looking than what was on the salad. Waited an hour and 40 minutes for our meals. The spinach (seasonal vegetable) was canned spinach (or terribly over cooked) and tasted awful. I asked for sautéed mushrooms for my steak, and they came out as little over cooked, black nuggets. I believe, the mashed potatoes are not real potatoes. Our meals were cold. Many people at surrounding tables were sending their meals back-we did not. Super disappointed, as this was our 20th anniversary meal. For the prices you charge, you should be more aware of what your cooks are sending out. Never had such a terrible meal at a restaurant. Only ate the steak, which was actually cooked well and tasted good. However, we will not return. $90 for two people-did not have alcoholic drinks or dessert-two meals, sodas, appetizer. That’s $90 lost. Gross.Only gave one star because the waitresses were nice and trying and the steak was good.

Cattleman’s was my favorite restaurant until today. Dinner was very disappointing. Maybe they have a new chef or different owners. My salmon was over cooked although I specifically asked for medium and my husband’s country fried steak was hard, tasteless and the breading was doughy, not crispy at all. The highlight of dinner was the spinach. I ordered chocolate cake and it was not packed with my order. This is not the first time this has happened. We went back to pick it up only to find a tiny sliver of cake in a plastic container. We paid $7.95 for what looked like a triangular brownie. The food was not worth the drive. I hope that they were just having an exceptionally bad day and that it is not indicative of future dining. I really did like this restaurant.

Food is quite good, as well as the service. Only 4/5 because of prices. Burgers and sandwiches are very reasonable, however most other items seem.. borderline expensive. You get what you pay for though, I haven't been disappointed by any items. Kind of a western theme going on there but its not so over the top the servers wear 10 gallon hats and sh*t kickers. Would reccomend ?

Stopped in there for a quick lunch during the week. There was only two other customers at booths and two people at the bar. It took a few minutes to be greeted/seated. We decided to order the soup and lunch special Chicken bacon wrap to keep it simple. My wife said maybe she'll just share some since she really wanted just the soup. The waitresses was rude with her response in the way she said then there will be a plate charge but didn't know how much. Our soup arrived and it was delicious. We did not see the waitresses for over 30 minutes and then she appeared an said it shoukd be right out. About 20 minutes later she still hadn't served us. So we asked for the warp to go as we had to get back to work. It was clear that either she forgot to put the order in or the cook disappeared. The owner walked in to check on the guy painting and it must have realized there was a problem. When its a slow day there's no reason for extremely slow service.

Worst Steakhouse I ever ate at. I asked for my steak “black and blue”and my wife ordered the same steak medium well. We both got rare identical steaks. Cooking a steak about the easiest food to prepare on earth. Not for this place, I also had a single pork chop it was overcooked, dry and terrible as well. The cowboy beans had zero flavor or spices. Like a 3 gallon can of no frills beans from a food dispensary for homeless people. Rice pilaf also had zero flavor. Staff very friendly and accommodating. You need to fire your steak chef.

The food and service were great! The staff were hustling.

my server tonight was Bri. she was super friendly and sweet. she made our experience wonderful along with the amazing food. I would highly recommend going there. Bri was just wonderful!

Our waitress was Alexis and she was amazing. She knows the menu,and drinks and makes great suggestions. Great food and service.
