A tiny place in Sydney NY. Serves authentic Bavarian fare. Both times I went were excellent. Jaeger schnitzel was great with spaetzel and red cabbage. Family run, mother -daughter operation. Very welcoming.

We are German ourself and enjoyed the food so much. Very authentic, fresh and wholesome.
I’m vegetarian (mainly vegan) and had a dumpling with red cabbage and sauerkraut. Delicious lemon cake for dessert !

Just the absolute best German food you’ll find around. Excellent quality and recipes, perfect service from staff. Worth every dollar. Will certainly be back as much as possible to try the weekly changing menu.

we skip this place which was looking nice, but can't find prices (hiding prices) so we didn't go in and get sushi in town

Had an amazing “authentic” German home cooked dinner at The Bavaria Restaurant last night. All fresh. It brought me back to Germany & my mom’s cooking. 5 ⭐️’s!!! Owned/Operated/Cooked/Served by Mother & Daughter. Food so flavorful, hospitality incredible, and extremely clean. Menu changes weekly & open Fridays & Saturdays 5pm to 8pm. Definitely going back!

What a lovely place, the atmosphere was wonderful and it felt very homey and cozy. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and explained how they made Spätzle :). The food was also delicious and felt like a home cooked meal, it was filling and tasted amazingly good. Very nice place would definitely recommend. 11/10

I found this by chance and I'm glad I did. Food was amazing like home made and the staff was so nice and welcoming.
So lovely. The food was amazing, authentic and like home-made. It's adorable and cozy inside, Mom cooks and daughter serves (and apparently makes the amazing cakes from scratch) and both are so friendly and stop to really talk to patrons, telling about the cuisine and just being lovely. I am so glad I almost accidentally found this place!

Small restaurant is nicely furnished and cozy. The servive is wonderful. This is the best German food from a German restaurant I've had!!! It feels like we are in a German home not a restaurant. Above 5 star.

This is a small cozy restaurant with delicious food, pleasant ambience, great staff (mostly consisting of the owner and her daughter). The owners are extremely nice and make the time to speak with customers. They make the dinner experience very pleasant and welcoming. We highly recommend the restaurant and the authentic food menu.

Fantastic meal! We were driving through and so glad we stopped. The menu changes every week and the staff were friendly and have great insights into the menu with recommendations. Would go again in a heart beat if we are ever in the area again. I will dream of those potato pancakes and the lemon cake.
