I ordered the Basic Breakfast and I had a feeling my plate sat out too long because my food wasn’t hot .. and the home fries were a pile of brown mush .. I should’ve sent it back but my husband loved his breakfast wrap so much I didn’t want to be a Debbie downer ..

I really wanted this to be a good experience, but it felt like a restaurant that was a business idea as opposed to place born out of some really good food. Skaneateles needs cute spots with good food, but the food is just edible with no homemade love in there you hope for with diners. Nothing special on the menu and none of the classic done well whatsoever. Staff was super-friendly but messed a few things up and made it good to their credit. If you need to eat, sure, if you like eating keep looking.

Nice place for breakfast or lunch, good food at a nice price with very friendly staff. Would probably go there more often if they were open later in the day.

The food, prices and welcoming atmosphere here was so good I had to share! I’m new to living in the Village so this was a sweet surprise. The bacon/onion/spinach quiche was rich and full of flavor (it’s the heavy cream mixed in.) The homemade Italian toast was sliced thick and served crisp. The fruit was cut fresh (not from a jar opened last week) and the coffee was hot from a newly-brewed pot and topped off several times while I ate. The price they charged for my breakfast was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food received. Best of all; my server, Denise, couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. Thanks so much to Clover’s! Well done all around.

I wish I had the option of more stars. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. Our server was delightful and friendly. The food is so delicious and affordable. There’s lots of room inside, so bring all your friends. We can’t wait to go back.

Visited at a popular lunch time however wait for food was longer than expected for experienced establishment. Overall food was not good. Homefries and quiche were over seasoned with garlic powder while a chicken salad sandwich was so bland even salt & pepper didn't help. Coffee was served in a clear cup and appeared the look of tea vs. coffee. Pancake & burger were average. Not overly impressed & unsure if we will go back. Server never came to check on us until we were done, never offered coffee refill either. Disappointed for sure!

Ample parking out back.Went here with friends for brunch. I ordered a tuna sandwich and the French Onion Gratinee crock of soup. My company ordered the basic breakfast and a BLT. My soup tasted like they used a chicken stock instead of beef. It had swiss cheese on the top and barley any onions. Maybe three in the whole crock of soup. Also the onions were not caramelized. The tuna sandwich was bland and didn't have enough mayo. The basic breakfast was good the eggs were cooked right . The BLT was on a cibata bread and had loads of bacon. The bacon was nice and crispy. You could tell the bacon had been cooked ahead of time though. Then reheated or something. Also my friend said the orange juice tasted kinda funny.Overall it was ok.Kid-friendliness: Had a kids menu

While Dickens Christmas was winding down, we went here for a late lunch. We didn't realize they were shortly closing, but they sat us anyways and were kind the hole time. We ordered a bunch of diner classics, and the portions were pretty good for the prices. It's what you'd expect from a great diner, which sounds bad, but it was all tasty, fresh and filling! Will be back some day to try their breakfast and pies! Also, super cute vibe in there, warm with the greenery
