Doug’s came highly recommended by a lot of our friends and family. We went today, ordered shrimp po boy sandwich, cup of chowder, grilled salmon with onion rings. Ordering was pretty easy and everyone was very pleasant. We sat down and waited for our name to be called for order, only about 8 min or so. Everything looked very good. This is such a great spot to eat, the prices are reasonable as well. We got a shrimp po’boys and apple fritters it came to around $21. It’s a great spot for a quick bite in the area. The sandwich was good, the apple fritter is delicious! It’s a thick cute apple slice with a whole in the middle, battered, fried, and covered in cinnamon sugar. They’re served hot and were so delicious. I’d come just for that, but the food is great too; they also serve Perry’s ice cream.
