In my opinion they have the best cherry pie in CNY but all their pies are great. Great pot pies as well. They have other great treats as well. I recommend a visit. You won't regret it.

Although the baked goods are good, I had the experience of an extremely rude clerk. Before I came there, I had called to see if they had Concord grape pies. I was told they do and it was first come first serve. Upon arriving, the very tall and loud voiced clerk told me I could only have one. That was the rule and had been since the history of the bakery. I told him that last year I had bought two. He implied that I had lied, because it had never happened. I told him that whomevery I had talked to should know to tell customers “one only.” He then loudly called back to the kitchen in front of everyone, what I had said. His yelling and aggressive attitude in front of many customers, was rude and embarrassing. The one pie I was “LUCKY” enough to get, will go to an elderly neighbor. I can’t help but wonder if this man would have treated me like this, if I were a male???!!! Very intimidating, never to return. Naple, N.Y. Has these pies for $18.95, as opposed to $30.00. In addition, the people waitin on you will be respectful.

First time stopping in and it did not disappoint. It’s such a cute quaint shoppe with a great selection of baked goods. We purchased two lemon blueberry cookies and a mixed berry pie. Both were very delicious. Can’t wait to return and purchase more.

I don’t even like pie- BUT heart n hand pies are NEXT LEVEL!! Amazing crust, amazing filling. I dream of them. We live 4 hours away but anytime we have the opportunity to visit family there or they come down this is what we ask for. Heart N Hand is a treasure and I hope they continue to do it right for generations to come!

Delightful little shop with plenty of home cooked bakery items. We bought some cookies, apple crumb cake, and bananna bread. They we very tastey. Call ahead if looking for something specific, like their famous grape pies.
Not much to choose from by 2pm on the day I visited for the first time, but did buy cookies and a loaf of cranberry bread; they were good. However, I won’t be back after being treated rudely by a man in the shop the next day. He appeared to be in a place of authority; really needs to be more pleasant and not so grumpy! Not sure who took the jelly out of his donut…..

When going to Skaneateles this is a must stop for delicious baked goods. Staff is friendly, efficient and ready to answer any question you may have. We bought one of their pies. Best crust and pie going. So much to go back for from half-moon cookies to frozen chicken pot pie.
