INSALATA DI SPINACI - still delicious but better when the spinach was cooked

SCALOPPINE DI POLLO - the go to chicken dish here

*CAPPA SANTA AL PROSCIUTTO E BASILICO - best dish on the menu

BANANA BUDINO

House-made cinnamon-sugar phyllo shell filled with layers of fresh bananas, banana cream pudding and almond cookies, finished with caramel sauce and almond cookie garnish.

***THE BEST***
At the very least the banana pudding is a must. By far the BEST dessert I’ve ever had.
Note: Even if you’re too full and about to pass out make sure you order this dessert for the table(not to go). A to go order is significantly less and just leaves you wanting more

Went for our anniversary, could not have chosen a better place. Everything absolutely was perfect.

Dietary restrictions: Shellfish on the menu, but happy to work around allergies, and they have Gluten free options including some pastas.

Wheelchair accessibility: May have accessible seating. But the the bulk of the seating is only just wide enough to fit a chair through.

First time here we sat at the bar and the bartender was excellent at helping me find something to eat due to AFRID Autism.

Second time we were sat immediately by hostess. Help came from young gentleman who we asked for hot water. Not cold. He returned with two steaming hot paper cups and plastic lids from STARBUCKS! I was completely embarrassed! Went to hostess to complain about it because our waitress, Julie was busy.

Hostess returned with two cups of hot water and saucers.

Julie our waitress, was trying to explain how the menu didn’t have fettuccine Alfredo. She was hostile about telling me that it’s not on the menu. I told her the bartender helped me out last time. I’ll go ask him what it was I had. She was correct about what cheese and it not being on the menu.

I tried to ask her for something as she just finished taking another order. She refused to look up at me and I tapped her immediately before she passed me by. She kept walking. Immediately knew she was getting a low tip.

I went to use restroom. Came back to find out that my friend was asked if he wanted dessert. He said he would like to see the dessert tray. She walked away saying that she doesn’t have time for this. Then walked away.

We asked for the check.
She threw it on my friend. Tossed it right onto him. Walked away to another table. I spoke up and said “I have never met such a rude waitress as her!” Hoping that she would hear it.

Not satisfied, I went back to the hostess and it turns out that she is the manager of the restaurant.

We got the “Oh I’m so sorry!”

This place is not what it’s chalked up to be.

Hospitality is out the door.
She missed out on a 30% tip and was left 5%

If it was me? I would have paid with a smile and walked out the door never to return.

Dietary restrictions: Julie gave me a hard time because of my dish not being on the menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not that I know of. Bathroom is downstairs. I didn’t see an elevator or a chair lift.

Definitely a different type of menu. Had to read each caption to know what to order. I had garlic bread stuffed sirlion with a red sauce over it. Hubs had swordfish.
Interesting place with writing all over the walls. It was a unique experience.
Had the orange creme brulee - excellent dessert
If you are looking for an experience for dinner and arent afraid to spend $$, its definitely worth the trip

We recently got married in Skaneateles at the Sinclair, who has Rosalie’s as their exclusive catering partner. The food was excellent! Before booking the venue, we had dinner at Rosalie’s and loved it in person, so having them as the caterer was an easy
call. They had us in six months before the wedding to do a tasting dinner to confirm our menu. The tasting was so much fun! Marc and his team were all about making sure that
we were getting exactly what we wanted, while being super transparent at the same time. They were even able to work with us for some difficult requests for our specialty cocktails. Such a great experience working with them and even better food!

It has been several weeks since our November wedding, I can still taste the Farfalle from our reception. Rosalie’s Cucina was where we had our first date back in 2016, so when the Sinclair of Skaneateles said that they were their exclusive caterer we knew it was meant to be. Executive Chef, Marc Albino and his team at Rosalie’s Cucina worked with the Sinclair team to ensure our wedding was everything we dreamed of—which included incredible food.

Food was a priority for our wedding and Rosalie’s Cucina is truly the best. They create delicious Italian dishes and have an incredible, attentive team that took extra care to ensure our guests with food allergies / restrictions were well fed and happy.

As someone with two food allergies, working with a catering team who would be diligent and attentive is required. Ten of guests have food allergies / restrictions and after we booked our wedding with the Sinclair, I reached out to Marc to let him know that we would have several guests with allergies / restrictions to feed and he immediately assured me that it would be no problem for his team. One of our younger guests has a sever dairy allergy and when her mom reached out to, Marc and his team were great about answering her questions.

Rosalie’s Cucina and Sinclair of Skaneateles have an amazing partnership—they made our wedding planning and day everything we had dreamed it would be.

As part of their wedding package, you get a tasting for up to six people. We went in June and Marc and his team made us feel like we were VIPs. It was at the tasting when we met Julie, she works directly with Marc on weddings and events. My Mother-in-Law and I are gluten free, so they made a gluten free version of both the pastas we tried.

The Sinclair arranged our prewedding meeting with Julie to finalize all our food and beverage needs about a week before the wedding. During this meeting, Julie took us through the whole day from meeting their bartender, Matt, at the end of the aisle for our first drink as husband and wife to how their team will clean up and stage our decorations at the end of the night. Julie asked us what we wanted our dinner beverages to be so they would be at our table waiting for us when we sat down. With my food allergies, she asked me what I wanted so that it would be at my seat.

The day of our wedding went smoothly. Matt, the bartender, arrived early to set up the bar. He took the special Wells College Junior mugs I had special ordered for our first drink as husband and wife and our wedding ice cream scoop to make sure they were cleaned and ready for us.

After the ceremony, Matt was at the end of the aisle with our mugs of sparkling wine. The Rosalie’s Cucina staff was great about guiding the guests to the second floor for cocktail hour. They had wine pre-poured and beer ready for our guests and the hors d’eouvres stations set. While we were upstairs, the rest of their team transformed the first floor into our reception space.

Our most common food allergies were dairy and gluten, so their team made sure those individuals were plated their dinners separately and brought to their seats—everyone loved the food. As we transitioned into the party portion of the evening, the staff remained attentive and made sure the groom and I had water and beverages. As mentioned, food was a priority for us so we did have a late night hot dog bar! Our guests loved it and those with young families grabbed their dogs to go while others took theirs to the dance floor.

As part of the venue and catering package, Rosalie’s Cucina and the Sinclair staff collected all our decorations and neatly piled them on the tables by the door for pick up the following morning. They stacked liked items together for easy packing.

We have dined at Rosalie’s for dinner a handful of times, and it is always worth the 1+ hour drive from Rochester. Each dish we’ve tried has been delicious and high quality, on our most recent visit we had the Filet entree and the Farfalle con Pollo pasta dish, I would highly recommend both!

I had the ribeye, medium rare, which was fantastic. Whatever they do with the mashed (whipped?) potatoes that come with it was game-changing. For dessert we had the bruciata which is like Italian creme brulee - my favorite dessert, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is just nice as well. Even for Skaneateles, it seems a step above in class and quality.

A packed restaurant for NYE and everything was great! Delicious food, expert service, yummy specially drinks. We had a 20 minute wait for our reservation and service was a bit slow, but we understood that it was a full house all evening and the servers were hopping! The banana dessert? O.M.G.....

Kid-friendliness: I would not bring kids here. Not that you can't... but at $50+ per person, I would not want to ruin someone's evening nor have my evening ruined by an unruly child...
