Sophisticated without being pretentious. Loved the chef's creativity, there's definitely passion behind the food. Dinner was fantastic, will definitely be back to try the brunch menu.
The food and decor inside this artfully curated home was a feast for the taste buds and eyes. Located in an equally quaint town, Krebs 1899 is a must place to dine. Our brunch started with passed homemade pastries for the table (the apple pie scone was amazing), beautifully prepared entrees such as a garden fresh vegetable and white bean cassoulet with a perfectly fried egg and an impressive wine list to boot. This is worth the visit (and 30 minutes drive from Syracuse) and a place I hope to return to soon. Well done, Krebs ownership and staff!
Krebs was lovely food and service fantastic, great atmosphere took my daughter for her 21st birthday
We really hoped for a special night at the best restaurant we could find, but this was not even close to our experience. Lackluster, missing plates, never told specials, and the lobster risotto was the saddest-looking plate I've ever seen. The one highlight was that the cut of lamb was by far the best I have ever had.Unfortunately this was a major loss for us.
Everything was perfect. Food, service (John and bartender) , ambience, everything. 2nd time there. Love it there.
First time dining at The Krebs, it did not disappoint! Excellent quality and very professional staff!
Ate here 7 weeks ago -- long enough for any giddiness to wear off. This meal remains memorable -- in my case, duck with a really crispy skin -- and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat. Ate at the bar; excellent service; the restaurant manager is a super-savvy young guy; the somm is also young and has one of the largest wine lists I've ever seen (50 pages?), including many wines he inherited from a prior regime and which retain their original prices, making them screaming bargains. (The somm knows that; he's just ready to see the old bottles leave.) A really classy interior, and the crowd here gives the place an active vibe. The bartenders were superb -- one likes to experiment and gave me a taste of something he was fermenting. So, these guys not only can execute, they also can create. Most impressive.

We had a wonderful evening for our 32nd wedding anniversary! My wife ordered the duck and I had the filet mignon...both dishes were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The cozy atmosphere made for a relaxing night, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Erica and her assistant (I forgot her name - maybe Samantha?) were great! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality dining experience.

We had reservations but arrived a little early. We started at the bar which was excellent. The cocktails were delicious. We then were seated and the service was excellent. John did a great job. The food was okay. We got the scallops and the lobster risotto. The scallops were just okay. The lobster risotto did not have much flavor and the lobster was very tough. The service and atmosphere were excellent but the meal was disappointing.

We had such a great time dining at The Krebs with a large group. The staff handled everything flawlessly and made us feel right at home. Luke in particular went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were top-notch, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the evening even more special. This place really knows how to treat guests!
Hosting a large group can be tricky, but the team at The Krebs made it feel effortless. We came as a party of 11, and Luke took care of us with such professionalism and warmth.
