Had a beautiful brunch this past St Patrick’s day. it was incredible, I had the Spanish Omelette and my partner had the lobster benedict. We also shared the unbelievable Monkey Bread and it was fresh out of the oven and topped off with Cream cheese frosting! it was the second time we had the pleasure of being served by Jesse. His personality is so endearing and his service was impeccable. We had an absolutely lovely brunch and will be back, and asking for Jesse of course!

Perfect Birthday dinner. Back in January my husband treated me to the most elegant birthday dinner. We did make reservations ahead of time but we arrived a little early and started at the bar. The bar is very comfortable and the bartenders are prompt and pleasant. After taking a minute to look around at their bottle selection and cocktail menu I was pleased to see they offer a wide variety of options in many different price ranges. So if you're a cocktail connoisseur or a novelty drinker there's something for everyone. After enjoying our first drink (I can't remember what I ordered) we made our way to the table. The dinning room clean, nice, and cozy. We got greeted immediately with water and fresh focaccia. For our meal we started with the bison tartar, this dish was perfectly seasoned, and cut perfectly. It was soft with no rough pieces and had a great balanced flavor. For our second round of drinks I ordered a Sazerac and my husband ordered the El Diablo. For dinner we shared the Norwegian salmon and duck breast. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, the salmon had an incredible crispy skin and the duck was cooked exactly the way it should be. We practically licked our plates clean. For dessert we ended with a creme brulee. This was the least exciting part of the meal it was okay nothing special and the shortbread square on top was not needed. In all it was a great meal and a great evening out to celebrate.

Friday night was my first time here and it won't be my last! Food and drinks were great! Our server Margaret was the best! She was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and drinks even made sure my food allergies were top priority! I had the bison tartar for an appetizer and the chicken orange for my entrée. 10/10 all the way around.

Everything was lovely at our birthday brunch for 2 on Sunday. Truly it was absolute perfection! The decor is a serene marriage of vintage and modern, the food was outstanding, and the service superlative!

Been many times but things have gone downhill. By far the worst service I’ve had in a long time. In addition, the food was poor which is not normal but has left a very bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended).

Business and craft

Great food, but our server, Marshall, made the experience less enjoyable. He was dismissive at our table, and we had to ask about dessert special. He made us felt so unwelcome throughout our dining experience. We appreciate servers and still left a great tip. However, we won’t be coming back to this place. We travel a lot and dined at many places but never had an experience where we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome by the server. I want to highlight that the food and atmosphere was great. Our experience wasn’t at all.

We really enjoyed our cocktail at the bar. Super friendly bartenders. Enjoyed a couple of delicious bourbon drinks. Dinner was delicious. We had the salmon and the special meatloaf of the night. Both were excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Next time I'm going to ask to be seated in the front room with all the windows.

First time eating at Krebs we order the Valentine's Day menu, the beef carpaccio was very good, the Petite Tenderloin was tough and under seasoned, the Raspberry tart filling was delicious but the tart itself was rock hard couldn't be broken apart with the fork provided, our Waiter seemed very rushed and it was a burden we were there, the other serving help was very nice and would hold quick conversation, the homemade bread was very good, they also have a nice selection on nonalcoholic drinks

I have contemplated writing this review for the last several weeks because of how horrific our experience was. I sincerely hope that management reads this and takes action to improve these things.I visited on 1/27 with a large party. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and we quite honestly felt sorry for him having to deal with the back and forth of the incompetent kitchen staff. One of our guests ordered the clam chowder special and received a cold salmon soup instead of the chowder. Embarrassed, we told our waiter about the mixup and he apologized and came back with the correct order. He told us that someone else special ordered salmon soup, and it was accidentally delivered to our table as leftovers. (When the runner was taking this back to the kitchen, he dropped a bit of soup on my friend’s shoulder). At first, we didn’t think it was a big deal until the entrées came. Half of our table ordered the tenderloin and three out of the four meals were served black & blue. My poor pregnant best friend wasn’t even able to eat her short rib, and when she brought it up to the server, he informed her of a certain cooking cooking technique that the beef was braised in. What’s funny is that technique Has nothing to do with serving raw beef. We ordered medium rare tenderloin and were served barely cooked, inedible beef (see photo for reference of what they said was medium rare). We were embarrassed to send it back after dealing with the salmon soup and the arrogance of the food runner. After talking to our server and showing him the food, he came back out and told us that the kitchen staff agreed the food was undercooked. He offered to cook my friends steak a bit more and the others didn’t even touch their $65 tenderloin. As we were waiting for our check two men wearing chef coats, walked by our table, giving us the death glare and dirty looks. I am assuming this was the executive chef, considering he was wearing a gray chef coat and the other guy was not. I have never seen such unprofessionalism. You would think after spending $1000 on food and drinks that you would be treated with a little bit more respect. After all these issues, they didn’t even offer us one complementary drink or anything to rectify this situation. It’s safe to say that I am extremely disappointed in the experience that I had, and I will make it a priority of mine to never recommend your restaurant to anyone who visits Skaneateles.

As always, the food was fantastic and the service outstanding. We often get the same waitress and she's lovely -- friendly, cheerful, quick, and attentive. The tiny little muffins are a delight, the daily crepe delicious, the main dishes hot and well-prepared, and the mimosas perfectly balanced :) Nothing but thumbs up from us!
