I came in from PA to spend a weekend with my family in the Bronx. They planned an outing to Sleepy Hollow for the day. As a New Yorker for 45 years and now semi retired in PA, I was very much looking forward to this since 2019.
We visited small shops, walked around, saw the parade, and so on. Since I had read on Friday that the area would be busy I made a reservation for us online to dine Saturday October 25th.
We arrived and were seated quickly. That was the best part. No table service with utensils nor napkins. I had to request these for our table and when the teen girl brought it to us it was not properly handled, still wet, and no napkins! I told her just hand them to me and I wiped them down and distributed to family.
Food - literally 65% of what we ordered was not available- no burgers, falafel, even Pelligrino, and again iced tea. My nephew had to order a meal he didn't like, my lovely niece had mac and cheese that was swimming in cheese. I was now miserable and upset.đĄ I work for a hospitality group in Milford, PA and couldn't wrap my head around how this was even happening. The waitress really wanted to hide I'm sure as I questioned the situation at hand several times.
I heard some loud lady in the kitchen yelling about spinach and something else. The lady who was yelling earlier was now on the dining room asking about meals and that the event street closure caused issues. What issues - you're either prepared with additional provisions for these events or you're not. This could not be their first rodeo. As a topping to this evening, the bathroom was a disaster. Apparently 10 minutes of someone visiting both for a quick clean up was beyond their scope.
The 2 teens working there looked miserable and not trained at all. How do you bring water to a table and have your fingers in the as you set it down. They looked dazed and confused đ đ«€

Everything is disgusting! The dishes are poorly washed and smell of bleach. Everything fried tastes like old oil, the Greek salad has old cheese, and the greens are wilted. The apple juice is watered down, and the martinis are disgusting, full of citric acid. There are no napkins on the tables, it takes a long time to get everything, and almost everything we wanted to order is missing. It's not worth the money you charge your customers!
Very delicious food and nice atmosphere! Highly recommend đ

Debated leaving about 3 times from how long the food took to arrive then it arrived and the chicken looked like strips of bacon and everything was cold. Still here and have been here for over an hour and havenât gotten a burger yet.

Went for lunch with a friend. We picked place randomly and were pleasantly surprised. Service and food were wonderful and the cost was reasonable. Will definitely go back again to this quaint little gem!

This place was amazing. I lived 5 years in Crete and it took me back. We had saganaki cheese and lamb kababs. It was so flavorful and fresh. The service was great! We were there during lunch at a festival so I wasn't expecting such fast service. What an awesome experience.

Santorini Greek Restaurant was a revelation! The service was excellent and all of the waitress were big advocates for their customers. The place serves food that has the highest quality ingredients and preparation but it has a great family vibe. Alex the owner makes you feel like a family friend you have known for years from the moment you step inside with her contagious personality. Once you visit Santorini Greek Restaurant you will definitely come back again and again.

Excellent, delicious food, very accommodating-the decor can use some updating, a but run downâneeds freshening up, but the food and people/staff/service excellent, courteous, helpful. Very authentic, solid Greek food!

Best food in sleepy Hallow, I went for the tour of the town during October headless horseman season I know, and I was so happy to see a nice cute restaurant in a quieter part of town. The service was great we were brought hummus and warm pita right away. I got the shrimp Santorini and asked for orzo instead of linguine and they brought me out a Greek salad too. My girlfriend got the chicken lemon soup she absolutely loved it. She also loved the beef souvlaki. If Iâm up in Sleepy Hallow I have a new favorite place to take family.

We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and didnât leave until almost 8 p.m. because the food took forever to come out. We tried to be understanding since the restaurant was very busy and asked to move to an indoor table because it was very cold outside and I had my pet with me. After asking several times, I finally spoke with the manager, who apologized and said she would have us moved. However, none of the servers helped us relocateâwe had to move everything ourselves and find a new table.
The manager later came by to check on us and kindly offered drinks, but when the food finally arrived, one of the dishes (the shrimp) was cold, and two of our plates were missing items that were supposed to be included. We decided to eat anyway since we had already waited so long. We also had to ask for silverware three times before it was finally brought to the table.
When the waitress came back, we asked for the check and mentioned one of the dishes that wasnât right, saying we didnât want to wait any longer. Her response was that âeveryone had to wait,â which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I told her that such delays are not the customersâ faultâitâs a management issue. She only acknowledged the food mistake but not the long wait.
Soups were good
Food was great đ it's a nice little gem. But be aware that if you are a group they automatically charge you a 25% tip is added to your bill. I was not too thrilled about that because we weren't aware it was that high or automatically added to your bill. We were a group of 7.
