Amazing tradition and a Tastee Treat. The playground was awesome, the pavilion was a nice place to find a seat and enjoy our food. Kids friendly and the antique car show was spectacular!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian lunch and dessert options. Vegan ice cream!!!Parking: Huge number of parking spots in a giant lot on both sides in in front of the storeKid-friendliness: Large outdoor area that's safe for kids to run and play in. That separated from the parking area so no concern. The boat and the playground are really fun. In general kids are just part of the atmosphere and very welcome by staff and patrons

fish fry was excellent, moist and tender fish with nice crunchy coating in a long, grilled bun. French fries and onion rings very good too. burger was ”real”, not a paper-thin cardboard disk. staff was very polite and friendly. sorry only to discover them today, the last day of their season - but will definitely be back next year for more!

The ice cream is so good. I spoke with the new management and they are planning to have apple cider doughnut sundaes this fall. I am so excited!!! They have a nice pole barn with picnic tables under it and a small play ground for the kids. I will definitely be coming back.

The service was great - one woman working alone, but was great with the large party with kids and thanked each of the rest of us for waiting. And the ice cream was yummy!

Soft and hard ice cream with a limited menu of food. This is a branch of a similar spot in Delmar.

I've got an incredible story to share with you – it's all about rediscovering a piece of my childhood that brought back the sweetest memories. Three years ago, our beloved Tastee Treat, the ice cream shop that held a special place in our hearts, closed its doors. We were all a bit heartbroken as it used to be the go-to spot for heavenly treats. But, guess what? Fate had something wonderful in store for us, and the magic of Tastee Treat was rekindled under new management. Stepping inside was like taking a trip back in time. The familiar wooden booths, vintage ice cream posters, and the charming decor were all there, welcoming us with open arms. It was as if Tastee Treat was saying, "I'm back, and I'm better than ever!" The only difference was the lovely touch of fresh flowers on each table, adding a new touch of elegance to the place. Now, get ready for some exciting news – Tastee Treat didn't just bring back our beloved ice cream; they also introduced an entire food menu! Can you believe it? In the past, their food offerings were nothing to write home about, but this new management has turned things around completely. Of course, the ice cream remains the star of the show – and boy, did they hit it out of the park! The previous owners had let the quality slip, and the flavors were as uninspiring as ever. But this new team? They've brought a symphony of flavors that dance on your taste buds! From timeless classics like chocolate and vanilla to daring concoctions, each scoop is a thrilling adventure for your senses. And if you're vegan or have dietary restrictions, don't fret – Tastee Treat has some incredible non-dairy and vegan options too. And let me tell you, these folks take homemade seriously. The love and care they put into each scoop is evident in every creamy bite. With top-notch ingredients, it's like indulging in pure delight with every spoonful. But that's not all! They've also revived those amazing community events that made Tastee Treat feel like a second home. From storytime for the little ones to open mic nights that brought us all together, the new owners have breathed life back into the heart and soul of Tastee Treat. I can't begin to express how grateful I am for this revival. It's like finding a long-lost treasure, but one that feels brand new and exciting. Having my childhood haven, Tastee Treat, back in all its glory is truly a dream come true. So, the next time you're wandering around town and feel that pang of nostalgia for the past, don't hesitate to step into the newly transformed Tastee Treat. You'll be whisked away on a delightful journey, and it will feel just like being a kid again – full of wonder, joy, and the most scrumptious ice cream you could ever imagine.

So glad they're open again! All spruced up with classic summer ice cream, burgers, fries, and onion rings. I couldn't resist a twist!
