Two Little Dumplings, Maple Road, Slingerlands N.Y. quaint little bistro style, wish seats were more comfortable. Ordered beef soup, light beef broth hits the spot on cold days, (broth should have more of a presence which is what makes soup tasty) char siu bao had nice flavor but the dough was dry and seem under steamed, wasn't as fluffy and moist as traditional bao's are made to satisfy the senses. The Dan Dan noodles originating from Sichuan cuisine, dish was delicious but missing the pickled vegetables such as zha cai and scallions (wish it was more moist instead of dry) otherwise it had nice flavor.
The pork dumplings had a light faint flavor profile should have more flavor profile ,I didn't taste the fragrant spices such as (ginger ,peppercorn) ,the dough didn't have the chewy texture as traditionally made.that is why with one bite the dough fell apart and filling separated from dough. With a little more adjustment this would be fantastic. Otherwise this is worth trying if your in the neighborhood.

The staff was kind and the space was clean and cozy, which I appreciated. The food was very fresh and everything looked great, but unfortunately the flavor just wasn’t there overall.

We ordered several items, including the beef noodle soup and pepper steak dumplings, and everything was extremely under-seasoned. The dishes only became somewhat enjoyable after adding a lot of chili oil and soy sauce, which shouldn’t be necessary for core menu items that are meant to stand on their own. The Taiwanese fried chicken was decent, but not enough to balance out the rest of the meal.

Fresh ingredients are important, but so is built-in flavor. For the price, I expected more balance and depth.

the staff was very friendly and kind. the place is also clean and very cosy to eat in. and the food seems to be fresh. we ordered the beef noodles and the steak dumplings, everything is BLAND. no flavor the only flavor is the texture of the food which is disappointing because everything looks great. we had to overuse chili oil and soy sauce to get things down and add flavor. truly a shame so much potential only if they invested in salt and ICE.

Highly recommend. The food is absolutely delicious and set-up is perfect for a relaxed lunch. They sell frozen dumplings and bao to go, so I like to dine-in for lunch and then snag some frozen goodies to cook at home later. My kids love the bao and they rotate through traditional flavors and some more creative sweet offerings.

10/10. I’ve never left a Google review before but this place was so good that I had to write a review on the spot. I’m literally still sitting at my table. My friend is currently ordering a second meal to bring home. The food is so good and everyone’s so nice. The kimchi arancini was unreal. Can’t recommend it enough.

A True Community Treasure!
Two Little Dumplings is hands down my favorite local spot. Every dish is absolutely delicious, but the dumplings, soup, and cheesecake are out of this world! Their Thanksgiving meal was perfect and made for a truly memorable holiday. The quality, flavor, and care in every bite show how much they value their customers and community. If you’re looking for incredible food and warm hospitality, this is the place to go!

What a great local business! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The dumpling dipping sauce is amazing and you should absolutely buy a bottle to take home, the bao buns were the best I've had in a very long time, and the pork dumpling soup was comforting and delicious. I can't wait to go back.

As long-time fans of Two Little Dumplings from their presence at the Delmar Farmer’s Market, I couldn’t be happier to see them growing in this space with expanded hours and menu offerings.

Our first trip here was a delight!! Our party of two each got the dumpling meal, which was a fabulous way to try their creative sides. I enjoyed the house kimchi, but the kabocha salad was a knockout. My husband raved about the soy marinated egg. And, of course, the dumplings cannot be topped.

They have a curated selection of goods and treats - don’t miss the chocolate bars and desserts.

We ❤️ Two Little Dumplings and can’t wait to return!
