It's unusual to write effusively about a supermarket but here it is: this store is fantastic. Great selection, especially produce and cheese, and well organized. The beer aisle is a whole other thing; it's unparalleled. The largest selection I've seen anywhere including at the beer distributor. Upstairs is a treat; a full bar with an amazing outside deck and nature views across the adjacent wetlands. More expensive than Acme, but worth it at least occasionally.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for over five years and have always brought my certified, hypoallergenic emotional support dog without issue. Today, an older male employee confronted me—loudly and in front of other customers—because my dog was in the cart. I’m 16, and his tone and behavior were completely out of line.
After I repeatedly told him I understood the rules and said I was going to check out, he ignored me and kept shouting that I needed to follow the laws and that they applied to me too. He then followed us, and continued talking about the situation to his coworkers, loud enough for us to hear. I even had to send my 15-year-old friend OUT of the store with MY EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL just to get this man to leave me alone. While he eventually apologized, his actions were unacceptable and created an uncomfortable environment.
One of the most quality tap lists I’ve seen a long time. The beers were also handled properly…temperature, clean glassware, clean tap lines…

Absolutely love this place. Come here multiple times a week for groceries and my boyfriend loves the coffee from the bakery section (gets iced coffee and espresso) the place is clean, well stocked and the staff is always friendly and willing to help! I asked one of the employees, Nick, if he would try to get a type of chocolate bar that I like. He assured me he would at least try. Sure enough I went in today to see my favorite chocolate bar on the shelf 🥹. Made my whole week. Thanks Nick! You went above and beyond

I recently visited DiCicco’s & Sons in Somers, and I had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly blonde woman at the front desk, who was not only professional but also exceptionally warm and welcoming. She made me feel right at home and provided excellent service, which set the tone for my entire visit. The food was outstanding, as always, but the customer service truly stood out. It's clear that DiCicco's values great staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning!
