Service is very good. Food is awful. Nothing seems to be made in house. Sysco provides most of their food. I grew up on Jerome Ave, how disappointing.

Classic kosher deli decor, right cheerful and clean. We were there with a big group from our synagogue and they closed the restaurant for us. Service was attentive and friendly. Evrone was hapy with their meal choices; my sandwich of pastrami and tongue met all expectations. We will return.

Prohibitively expensive for the area it’s in. Ended up spending $24 for a pastrami sandwich (granted I got avocado added).
Also I think there’s some miscommunication with the orders in the kitchen because I ordered with mustard on the side and they both put mustard on my sandwich and on the side.
Added a star because the pastrami is good and everyone was friendly.

I llove everything I’ve ever eaten from here. The meat knishes are insanely good as are the latkes, the matzah ball soup, the sandwiches, of course! I even had the chopped liver which made my head pop off it was so delicious. Today I went for lunch with a girlfriend. I ordered and devoured the chef salad with Russian dressing on the side. It was enough for 2 meals, but don’t worry; I ate it in one meal. The pickles are so yummy too. The staff is awesome as is the owner.

For a $20 price tag on a plain pastrami sandwich, I got the equivalent to a half Katz sandwich. Latkes are a little dry and have an oil after-taste. Knish tasted microwaved. Smells like meat and cleaning detergent. Overall was not impressed.
Amazing food and even better service! The pastrami was juicy and full of flavor, the matzo ball soup was pure comfort, and the Knishes tasted fresh and homemade. The staff is super friendly and made us feel like family. My kids (the most pickiest eaters ever) ate almost everything. The staff is very kid friendly which is a MAJOR yes in my book. They’re Fast, kind, and always smiling. Can’t wait to come back and bring the kiddos!! 100% recommend.

If you’re a fan of kosher delis, Epstein’s is a must-visit. Their pastrami is next-level—perfectly seasoned, super tender, and just the right amount of smokiness. The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, super welcoming, and really makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. Between the amazing pastrami and the great service, this place is a winner all around.

I’m so happy this place opened in Somers! The food is as delicious as the classic Yonkers location but served in a modern atmosphere. They still start you with a plate of pickles as soon as you sit down and Dr. Brown’s flows freely!
