My wife and I went on a Saturday night around 5:30pm and were seated right away. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was very enjoyable, especially with the live piano music.
The food was a mixed experience. The caprese salad was adequate but came with only one basil leaf. My main dish, the special Sole Francese, was excellent, and my wife liked her veal, though it had too much cheese on top. Dessert was a decent carrot cake, but not spectacular.
The biggest disappointment was the wine, which tasted like it had been open too long.
Overall, I’d recommend Mama Rosa’s if you go with reservations and order carefully—the right choices can make for a very good meal.

Mamma Rosa is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. Rigo and his wife, Adilia, were absolutely lovely--true examples of great owners who care about their guests and their food. I had the Chicken Parmigiana, and it was outstanding crispy, perfectly cooked chicken, smothered in rich marinara and delicious cheese. Every bite was perfection! The portions are generous, and the flavors are authentic and fresh. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Mamma Rosa delivers an incredible experience every time. I will definitely be back!

We have had many family dinners here. What makes this place good is not only the good food and the pleasant atmosphere. But the staff and the owners make it work for you. They want to make you happy and they go out of their way to do so. You don’t find many Restaurants like that anymore. It is a place that we will come over and over again because they try hard to please us. And…you get value for what you spend. You cannot leave hungry. You eat with pleasure and you enjoy every bite. The wait staff is top notch! Fine dining at its best here! I highly recommend!

This place had a wonderful atmosphere with a blazing fire and musician. The wait staff was considerate and attentive. The food was more basic than I expected. It felt less like Italian cuisine and more like basic American food.
What an amazing find for us! I lived in Westchester over 30 years and only now found the best Italian restaurant in the county. Hadn’t heard of Mamma Rosa and now wished the restaurant would advertise some, but understand why as the food and service is so wonderful there isn’t the need. I used the lot to turn around last week, and felt the need to return to sample the fare. So glad we did, as every morsel far far exceeded my expectations with super accommodative service. And every item at a very fair price.
