I had been hearing good things about the Sound Beach Diner for a while, but kept forgetting to try it out. Finally went there to meet up with friends for breakfast, and it was excellent!The staff are wonderful- friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The menu is interesting, because they offer a-la-carte options as well as plate specials, so you can easily order only exactly what you plan to eat, and reduce food waste, which is great! There is a good selection of items on the menu, and the food we ordered was *delicious*. Everything was absolutely perfect!I can't wait to go back and try other items from the menu. I expect to go there often, since the location is so convenient for me, and I now know the rumors of its excellence are true :)

Diner has gone down hill since we moved here in 2019. Originally I called in an order for delivery and the response was he just left, so I ask he left for the night ? He then asks a co worker is the driver coming back and his response to me was,” much later tonight” and hang up. So I mention this to my husband and decides to call it in to pick the food up instead. I ordered a chicken pot pie and soup that came with it and my husband orders a Turkey bacon club with fries. So he arrives home to realize they forgot the fries. I open mine and was shocked …I did not know what to think. It looked nothing like a chicken pot pie, it was two pieces of some kind of bread toasted on top of loose chicken with peas and corn and two spoonfuls of gravy. The bread was nearly chewable and the veggies were under cooked. Definitely not worth $32; we are both extremely disappointed!!!

Excellent experience from start to finish! Katrina was my server and got my order prepared exactly how I requested! Cheerful atmosphere good food and reasonable pricing! I will be back again soon.

Food is edible but wayyyyyyy overpriced!Payed over $43 for two orders of grilled cheese with bacon and grilled cheese with ham o_0 (four sandwiches total). Really insane actually!

Small town diner, comfortable to hang out, country music on the juke box.Our group got two eggs Benedicts - salmon and veggie- both were great.Also got two omelettes ham/Swiss and mushroom/spinach/Swiss - both also delicious, even better than expected.Our waitress Katrina was very friendly and the service was fast.

Worst service for take out, I placed an order and had to return 3 times until they got it right upon returning home and finally opening the meals we noticed they didn't put anything on the quesadilla. We just decided it wasn't worth a 4th trip to the location. Will never eat here again
