I heard really wonderful things about this restaurant. Friends had recommended and one in the party had eaten there before. I think I wasn’t wowed as I wanted to be and that is unfortunate as the service is excellent and all were very friendly and accommodating. One of the specials, the escargot app was bland and tasteless, even tho they were plentiful and came in a buttery, rich sauce with a pastry puff accompaniment. This place is a gem, a real throwback to when dining out was a pleasure. Been here several times for lunch and dinner. Warmly welcomed each time. The service and the setting and the food are all top-notch. Great fish always, and many traditional Italian dishes to choose from. Good sides, too. Each dinner entree comes with a lovely salad , nicely presented with a tasty house dressing. I feel fortunate to live nearby but would drive longer if I had to. many of their regulars come...
First time diner. Appreciated that the bartender went out of his way to make a margarita just the way I like it. Had a delicous salad and pasta with seafood. Also liked that we were not rushed through dinner. Warm, cosy environment with outdoor seating. Unpretentious and very good food. I'll be back.
