Great variety outstanding staff.
Man, if ever i could say that there was a diamon in the rough, this place would be deserving of that statement. i know that ive seen some negative reviews regarding the 4 pack cans and such, but we arnt gonna focus on that. we are gonna focus on the bread and butter of what makes this meadery absolutely a stand out must. first off, i highly recommend going to the actual establishment itself. i have been there before when the brewery first started and even then, the establishment was crisp, professional looking, and what a dope logo to add. it had some super humble beginnings as well, some brothers bringing a dream to life that showed from the get go with some pretty awesome flavors of mead. their prices were and are honestly really good when you consider the process and everything it takes to create it all and the insane flavors that go in it (some of their spicy ones are super good, like the watermelon with some spice on the backend of it, super good). the atmosphere is super nice, bright, their menus are really well made, and their flight boards for trying different meads is super cool, nice woodwork and logo. i now see that since their opening they offer food as well, which i will def have to try, but again, im there for the mead for sure. their meads are insanely flavorful and bright, and again, whether wanting to take some home or enjoy it there on the spot, i feel the prices and the quality are well worth what you pay. but what i really wanna touch on is the hospitality of the owners. ill feel bad if im butchering this, but it is three brothers who came together with their idea of opening this place, and im super glad that they did. their hospitality is beyond on point. my girlfriend and i decided to stop by one day after work, and the guys were kind enough to let us in a couple minutes before they opened, so that was much appreciated because we were excited to drink some mead. i am the worst at names, and sadly the two brothers names escape my name, which were the two brothers working in the back, but the one main brother that is always there is super kind and has always been a pleasure to talk to, but he was busy working on some new meads in the back. his brother though, jonathan, spent some time talking to me and my girlfriend for a little bit. he let us pick his brain and ask question, we got to know a good bit of his backstory and how this whole mead dream (yes it rhymes) came to be, their different blends, anything i could think of asking i did, because you can tell they put alot of hard work and effort into blending their meads. he by far was an incredible person to talk to, and i felt bad keeping him from doing his job, but his hospitality, along with his other brothers, was beyond top tier and honestly half the reason why im going to go back, i live in hamburg so its like a 40ish minute drive but i will start making the time to grab myself a glass of mead as often as i can. the hospitality was amazing and jonathan and his brothers were so kind to us and it was an absolute pleasure to get to know them a bit, their reasons behind their ventures and passion. if people are nervous or worried about trying mead, this place and the men who run it are the guys your gonna wanna go to, so you can finally try mead but try it in such a unique way. i do not rave or talk highly of anything or anyone unless i really believe in it at all, but these guys and their mead, i whole heartedly give them my full vote of confidence. please, do yourself a favor and just try this place, talk to the owners, get to know them a little bit, you will not regret doing so at all. heres a picture of their flight, 4 carbonated beer style meads and 4 wine glasses of their normal style uncarbonated meads. tell me that they dont look absolutely delicious, because they are just as good as they look folks. go there, just trust me, please do yourself a favor, you will not regret it.
Excellent mead! This establishment has over a dozen meads to choose from! Plus, the burger straight off the grill was quite the compliment. Sorry, I couldn't wait to take a bite! Thank you to John, Julie, and Dave
Absolutely loved this place! Great vibe, super friendly, everything we tasted was amazing! We will be back!
We tried several of their meads at a tasting event. They were all fantastic... but the root beer mead in the bottle we purchased at the event after tasting it tastes nothing like the root beer mead we sampled.
Amazing. Great flavor for all meads. Very friendly and personable staff and owners, they really care about their customers and their opinions. Love it!
By far the best meadery in WNY!
Plum Crazy is my ultimate favorite!! The staff are friendly, and knowledgeable, and they're always coming out with new flavors.. I've been to a few meaderies here and out of state, in my opinion, not one can compare to The Bee Spit Meadery..
It's a cool looking little place with really nice woodwork and decor, a super cool fish tank. The staff and owner are very nice and informative about mead and always bring out new flavors. My #1 go to meadery in WNY for hanging out or grab and go mead. Keep up the great work guys..
Bought 4 cans of non alcoholic honey soda at the Clarence farm market last weekend, 3 days later found 2 cans exploded in my kitchen destroying wooded furniture, trying to removed unopened dangerous 2 cans out of my house and got another “soda attack “ which destroyed my kitchen ceiling. Do not buy this product ! FYI there’s no warning to keep cans refrigerated or in the upright position. Heard from another customer at the Clarence market today that her can exploded inside her purse. No fun.
Amazing place. So many options something for everyone, if you never tried mead, you absolutely should. Owners are awesome and very informative. Definitely a stop you have to make. Please don't leave your cans in your vehicle overnight to freeze and say you left it at room temp. As another review you can clearly see the mead is frozen in the box in the picture.

Best owner. Best Meads. Period. Kraken for the win.
My friend and I went here for the first time and just.. my GOD was it amazing. We ordered the Birch beer mead and Liquid Gold along with some free tastes and were just blown away. Never had anything like it! This place is awesome for real and I'm absoLUTELY coming back. Thank you guys for such a great experience! The bartender was awesome
What a neat place to have a company meetup!
Great place, with a lot of heart! Excellent service
I bought the 4 pack of The Kraken at a wine tasting event. I stored them at room temp and I came home to discover one blew up and the other 3 looked like they were about to blow up. I opened the rest in the sink and they completely blew up, made a mess, and the can cut my finger. It stained my carpet and my walls. Spent about $30 on these too.
