I had promised myself that I would have dinner here after a really long day at work. When I arrived the chef/owner was actually cleaning up to close early because the night had been so quiet. He could have easily sent me on my way but instead he graciously sat me down. Let me order dinner. I ordered a risotto with beautiful scallops. Having worked in restaurants in the past, I know that it is a pain when somebody comes in as you're cleaning up to go. The fact that they were closing early doesn't change the fact that they could have sent me away. Instead, I got gracious and pleasant service along with a very nicely prepared meal. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I did not have a reservation when we visited. You should probably make one before you come they get extremely busy. Food was great, we got the muscles for the appetizer. I got the spring salmon, my girlfriend got the cranberry Burger food was great. Service was great, five stars all around!
Pleasant surprise. Probably the best pan seared scallops I have had. Risotto was also very good. I am a tough customer too. I expect dinner out to be as good as my cooking but hopefully better. This was!

I usually love Bad Apples Bistro. However, I asked for an add-on of mushrooms to my $42 filet mignon, which they did for extra $$. But they were tough and unpalatable; I couldn't eat them. I told the server this, but I was still charged for them. That's not acceptable.
