My second dining experience at Bad Apples BistroIt was Ginny's birthday and she chose the place. It was her third time dining there. There is no full bar service -only beer and wine are available.We both had interesting salads. My $14 Vegan Capri salad was tasty but a bit pricey. Ginny's Beet and Apple salad at $9 was a relative bargain and should be touted as a Bistro signature salad.My $17 Fish Fry was a relative bargain. The Haddock was encased in a crisp crunchy coating reminiscent of pre-breaded frozen fish that seemed oven-baked. The shoestring-cut Sweet Potato fries were an over-salted side. The Green Apple Slaw was interesting.Ginny's $42 center-cut 8oz. Filet Mignon served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and charred asparagus, finished with Cabernet demi was good with one exception -It was way over-salted!Along with our meals, Ginny had a $10 glass of wine, and I had an $8 The Kind India Pale Ale from Three Heads Brewery.Ginny chose to sit on a bench-style seat that lined the west wall of the dining area. I sat opposite her on a spartan steel-legged padded chair. There was a tiny table between us. Overall the indoor dining facility is tiny and spartan.When we arrived at 4 pm we had the place to ourselves and it remained so through the course of our dining experience. Still, there was a somewhat disturbing level of commotion from the proprietors and what seemed like their immediate family.When we were seated I mentioned to our server that it was Ginny's Birthday. At the end of the meal, our server pleasantly surprised us by comping Ginny with a serving of Chocolate Lava cake that had a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream with a candle on top.The total bill with tax and tip was $122

Ling time fan, and wanted to say that any time he has braised short ribs on the menu like he does this summer you need to do yourself a favor and try them. Super tasty and so tender you could eat them with a spoon. YUMWheelchair accessibility: Ground level with handicap and other parking.immediately adjacent. All seats are chairs at tables, nothing bolted down, so easy to accomdate wheelchairs or other equipment. Only tight spot is the bathroom - it is accessible but a sequence of two doors to go in and a right angle turn means some care would be needed. Also superlatively kind and helpful waitstaff if any arrangements need to be made.

This place is such a hidden gem in Spencerport. I love how the menu changes with the season so there's always something new and fresh. Their Brie burger is hands down the best burger I've ever had in my entire life. The service is always good.

Fast service. Very clean. fresh seafood. A little small inside, would go back in the summer to sit outside. Lava cake was not lava like. But over all apps and mains and service was fantastic!

Stopped for lunch on a cold day...we opted for French onion soup and desserts. Soup was delicious..hearty thyme flavor. Dessert was a warm apple crostata served with ice cream. They must have been out of the ice cream listed on the menu so subbed a vanilla chocolate chip which was a bit odd. Service was great; waitress was very personal and attentive. Tables are nice spaced.
