Highly reccomend. It was our first time bringing our kids here last night. Usually my husband and I go here for dinner alone. The owner and waitress were extremely kid friendly and attentive. The owner brought out crayons and coloring for the kids. Our waitress was very attentive and kept checking in with us. Food as always, outstanding. Love the family style salad and toasted bread with oil. Great meal, service and atmosphere! And kid friendly too!
Early dinner, well prepared entrees, prompt service.
Parking: Parking is remote from restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu.

I had the Chicken Parmesan, chicken was overcooked. Sauce was ok. Portions were just adequate. Service was excellent. Nothing remarkable, one and done.

I truly like Grandpa Sam's located in Spencerport. The food was tasty and certainly filling. I'd walk a pretty good distance just for their bread. I enjoyed a seafood entree in Marinara sauce. My husband asked for the Seafood Fra Diavolo only without the hot spice. He said how good it was several times. The service was attentive without being overly so. We found a parking spot, but it does lack decent parking.

We'd read the great reviews, and heard lots of really good recommendations about Grandpa Sam's, so we ate dinner here with friends on a Saturday in early September. The restaurant size is a bit deceiving and is much larger than what it appears to be from the outside. The restaurant looked to be half full when we arrived at 5:30. We had reservations and were seated quickly and provided menus. Our orders for Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Marsala were taken a short while later, and our meals were served up 20 - 25 minutes after that. The Chicken Marsala was good but not outstanding. The Chicken Parmesan was overcooked, tough, and actually burned in some spots. The pasta sauce wasn't particularly interesting either. The portion sizes were decent but not overly generous for the price. The total bill (guest check# 4851) for our two meals and beverages was $54 plus tax. The room we were sitting in got fairly loud once the restaurant filled up. The dinner service was the only thing truly memorable about our visit. Our server, Kelli, was pleasant, efficient and very attentive, so kudos to her. Beyond that, there aren't enough compelling reasons to bring us back here for a second visit. Thanks for reading.

We had my sister's dinner here after wedding rehearsal at Deerfield Country club and food was just spectacular perfectly cooked salmon, and I don't really like salads much but here it's like they were picked right out of the garden that moment fresh crispy and house dressing oooooh!! To die for i strongly recommend 👌

The dishes where very clean but food wansnt good, the dishes where shiny and clean, I’ve never seen a dish so clean, it was like a mirror, In my 68 years of life I’ve never seen a cleaner dish.

Grandpa Sam's is always a pleasant meal and the atmosphere is friendly. Food is reasonably priced and portions size is normal to large depending upon your order (pasta dishes tend to be large) .

Came here for my first time recently with my family and other relatives. The food itself wasn’t half bad, but the service was mediocre. It took over an hour for us to receive our dinner after ordering, it shouldn’t have even taken half that long for the place not being super busy on a Sunday evening. The menu didn’t look very extensive either, it looked like nearly everything on it is served with pasta sides, no others to choose from.
There is a reason they have been there almost 20 years. You always know when the owners are present and the quality remains top notch across the board on food, service, and beyond. Love frequenting here and will continue to!
Visited as a private event. Staff was friendly and the service was great. Buffet was very very good
