South Jersey is overloaded with Italian restaurants that are essentially the same. Anthony's is not the same. First of all the restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated, nicely lighted, white tablecloths, pleasing background music. In my view, Anthony's qualifies as a special occasion restaurant. While the menu doesn't offer 150 offerings, there are adequate choices for the most discriminating. Service is friendly and responsive. The excellent food is served attractive enough to be photographed. I especially enjoyed the fall apart short ribs. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the excellent service. Reservations are recommended.

Everyone at Anthony's was very polite, professional and welcoming. We were celebrating an anniversary and several folks wished us a happy anniversary and the restaurant worked with our florist to have flowers at the table when we arrived. Food was excellent as always!

Hands down, one of the best in the area. A quaint storefront on an adorable downtown street. Subdued, cozy ambiance inside. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. And the food... come hungry and leave with leftovers. Everything is phenomenal. The seasonal fig and burrata salad was sensational, and the homemade gnocchi was so tender and delicious. We will be back!

A very enjoyable experience. The staff were pleasant, attentive and the owner was present and involved. We were 30 minutes early for our reservation, but were accommodated within 5 minutes. In a very friendly manner, i might add. The ambience was perfect as we didn't dine until 730 on a weeknight. The Italian Wedding Egg Drop Soup was excellent as was the shrimp and vegetable risotto. The Chicken Parm and Chicken Saltimbocco were very flavorful and enjoyed. The salted Carmel and banana gelato was excellent. They always make you feel welcomed. 
Hadn't been to Anthony's for a few years. Glad we returned. Service very good. Food was excellent for all 4 of us. Terrific Caesar salad. Chicken Saltimbocca was a winner. Portions were generous and none of had room for dessert! We need to go back soon!

both my husband and i got the crab bisque as an appetizer. it was so delicious with chunks of crab meat in it. my husband had the steak and i had the crab tomasso. our meals were outstanding. we were very happy with our visit.

Not a huge menu, but it just means that everything is freshly prepared and high quality. Some original combinations using seasonal ingredients. It is a nice, quiet restaurant for a pleasant evening with good conversation.
