Came in last week to try Haitian food for the first time. A coworker from Haiti recommended this restaurant specifically.I got the oxtail stew and it was amazing. Tender meat in a flavorful sauce. And it comes with a weeks worth of delicious rice and beans, Plantains and baked mac to boot.Stopped in today for the fried pork and it was the best food I've had in a long time. Love the spicy pikliz! The restaurant itself is small with a few tables but has an extremely warm welcoming feel. Staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever seen.

This is probably the best Haitian restaurant I have eaten for many years. It taste like my wonderful aunt’s cooking and she is an amazing cordon blue. Friendly staff, Great portions, affordable prices and flavors of Haiti yum ? even the facility’s decor is cute and trendy. Thank you for properly representing our cuisine and culture. I will be back for sure.Parking: Beautiful and safe small plaza with parking right in front of restaurant.

If you are looking for delicious authentic Haitian cuisine, Gi's Resto is the place! The staff is warm and gracious, and the food is amazing. On my recent trip I had the fritay platter (fried goat, plantain, macaroni salad, etc.). The order also came with the traditional Haitian black rice.

Great Little restaurant. You can miss it if you are not paying attention. It’s in a small strip mall in Spring Valley, NY. Staff was nice and welcoming. They had authentic Haitian music playing. The food was absolutely amazing. The salad, rice, griot, plain tains are great. The lemonade will bring you back to Haiti. It’s definitely a place that you should go too more than once.

The food is great. It's so flavorful and the owner is very kind. We always order Tassot Cabrit with macaroni gratinee. It's delicious.

My first time having hatian food! They did not disappoint! I ordered the spicy griot (fried pork), it came with enough food for later. The service was friendly and attentive. Ambiance was cute

Food is amazing! We had the goat and beef fritay. Both were slamming and plenty of leftovers. Next time I'm going for the fish.
