We did not eat here yet, just a quick drink and patio sit to watch a band. It was a beautiful setting
Went in with my husband and 2 kids. Was seated quickly but a waitress NEVER came to even take our drink orders. After waiting 15 minutes we got up and left, without a single word from anyone.

Waited 45 minutes for drinks, wrong drinks delivered. Salad arrived before appetizers, and then only half of appetizers arrived. Waited an hour and 45 minutes for the entrees which had since dried out under a heat lamp. Terrible experience. I keep giving them a chance because of the location but each visit is worse than the last.

We stopped into the Hideaway today for lunch. Not having been there for many years, we weren’t sure about what to expect. The rugged exterior turned out to be quite misleading.
We were greeted by Nancy and seated in an attractive dining room complete with linen table cloths and fabric napkins. Lovely decor graced the dining room and after we were seated, I visited the restroom which was clean and nicely decorated.
My hubby ordered the prime rib on weck sandwich and I had the warm lobster roll with freshly cut fries and a lovely salad. It was seriously delicious and plentiful. Nancy checked on us several times to be sure we were enjoying our experience.
We were very pleased and will surely be back. Highly recommend you give it a try.
