Stopped at Gardner’s on our way home from Vermont and it was such a unique find! Paulie had the sausage & peppers and I had a cheeseburger, both were fresh and flavorful. We shared fries that were crispy, hand cut, and easily some of the best I’ve had. We washed it all down with a Coke and Diet Coke while sitting outside, enjoying the laid-back atmosphere.
What makes this place special is the combination, you can grab a hearty meal, enjoy rich homemade ice cream, and even play a round of mini-golf or hit the driving range. It’s not your average roadside stop, it’s an experience. The menu is way more unique than you’d expect, and everything feels homemade and done with care.
Highly recommend Gardner’s if you’re passing through Stephentown. Great food, fun vibe, and worth the stop!

My family and I were driving down the road and seen this small country diner once we have the food now we make this a event that we always come back to they have such amazing food we have had Christmas get together for a whole family here we have had birthday parties here the food is so amazing the prices are very affordable for anyone homemade french fries you got to have their french fries they are from fresh potatoes they make them as you're there the beef is from fresh cows that are butchered the food is amazing I highly recommend it they have a golf course for people who love golf course with breathtaking views of the Berkshire mountains all around the staff is so friendly I highly recommend going here if you haven't yet the ice cream is amazing at the summertime very good fried dough is amazing also chicken tenders are amazing

Had breakfast here twice and each time was fantastic. Even my breakfast hating son enjoyed his food. I’m pretty picky about an omelette and each day they were really good. Young woman working there each morning was terrific, great sense of humor and work ethic. I really thought she might have been an owner. She’s not, so if you’re the owner and you see this, give that girl a raise!
Ok, the shop itself was closed, so only the stand was open. Food was okay, disappointed that a deluxe does not include fries as most places do. Sat and ate at picnic tables outside.

Our family came here late after swimming at Cherry Plain State Park. We had a great experience with a fast prepared hot meal and Icecream afterwards. We appreciated the friendly staff and better than average fry food! Very comfortable and highly recommend. Thank You! Cash Only so know that:) Also, mini golf on site.
