Not only is Norte the only bar in Stephentown but even if it has competition-it would win. A true staple bringing community together through great food, delicious cocktails and often live music! The staff is friendly and fun with excellent service and I’ve tried everything on the menu and love it all! Their specials are also always a win! It’s a super cute local spot that feels like home.

Dine-in to a simple meal of black bean and cream of corn soups and fries. Then take-out of cowboy burrito, jalapeno poppers, mac and cheese, and cream of corn soup. The sizes were perfect, the quality was really good, and the service was great. The prices were a little higher than we would have expected. But overall it was a good experience.

I ordered fajitas that normally come out sizzling hot at everywhere Ive ever had them, and these came out on a cold tin tray. The meat was barely hot. Pretty disappointed. Margaritas were ok.

Norte Azul Cantina is located at the crossroads outside of Stephentown NY. It claims to be the only bar in town and has positioned itself as the place to come to hang out with others. Dining inside and out with overflow seating under a tented picnic area. There's even a small stage for outdoor musicians. As suggested by its name, Mexican cuisine and food is featured. My wife and I drove over from Mass while visiting in the Berkshires. She ordered Barbacoa steak soft tacos w crema drizzled on top that were very good. She also asked for sides of black beans and Mexican rice. Unfortunately, both were tasteless and inedible. I selected the empanadas which came as a crusty pastry filled with seasoned beef drizzled with crema and was very tasty! Very pricey though, 2/$12. A third one would've been appropriate. I added a small bowl of Rancher Chili which was actually huge, plus a Mexican brewed Modela Nigra beer.

Waitress was very attentive. Steak fajitas were delicious, shrimp bowl was exceptional, Cadillac Margaritas were spot on!! Don’t be afraid to order a pitcher. We’ve been going there at least once a month. Overall a great dinner experience.

Food is fine, my biggest issue was the well worn plastic plates. Felt like I was eating tiny parts of the plate as I ate my burrito with a metal fork and knife on the cut and scraped plastic plates.
