How would I go about emailing the owner privately regarding a recent experience?

We went here to see the total eclipse and it was fantastic. If I didn't know any better, I'd think they had eclipse viewing events every week. The whole thing was so well organized (parking, food, music, vendors, themed souvenirs), it was truly a joy. They had plenty of bathrooms to accommodate the large groups. Everyone on staff that we encountered was friendly and great at their job.Kudos to Colloca, we'll be talking about it for years to come. And next time we're in the area, we'll stop by again.

Beautiful place!! Gorgeous chandeliers, clean ladies bathroom, nice water view. First time visiting Colloca for the New Years celebration. It was well organized, well decorated, the food and appetizers were delicious. The package also included the coffee bar and a glass of champagne at midnight. The music during dinner was pleasant and DJ for dancing was fun. All the guests were respectful and everyone had a great time. The price package was reasonable for New Years; however, there was a cash bar, which I thought the drinks were a bit high priced. The staff were attentive. It is located closer to Oswego, which it was a better option to us, instead going to Syracuse. I definitely recommend Colloca for New Years event if they are promoting again in 2024-2025. I'm looking forward to visit this place on the summer months. Thanks Colloca team for a fun New Years party!

Sooo. You come to a very expensive dinner...... food is awesome, do NOT expect to talk with the VERY loud band, AND the owner making his rounds, talking to people, I TRIED to compliment his soup (obviously he didnt know me), he just very rudely nods and moves on.......... Ummmmmm... I spend about 2000 here every year...... or, at least, I USE TO! LMAO!!!! TREAT CUSTOMERS BETTER!!!!!!!!!!! OR BYE BYE....... AND YES.......WE ARE.... Came here for a girls weekend. 4 ladies at the tasting room. Were there for about 20 mins before a party of 20 came in and one woman behind the desk basically shoved us over to the side so they could be waited on. As if we weren’t paying customers as well. Left a very bad taste in our mouth. Outside of this food was really good. Wish there was a more indoor eating setting though for colder months.

Enjoyed! Spent the afternoon here meeting up with friends and family! Enjoyed the pizza and cider too! Appreciated the owner who came to my rescue with jumper cables, friendly disposition and saved my day (left rental car lights on- gesh!). Thank you!

A Beautirul setting in the Lake Ontaruo area. The 9 year old tasting room and the excellent facilities for large groups make this a destination rather than a stop. Excellent large free parking. Easy access for wheelchair bound patrons and a beautiful view of the Vinyard.

Let me preface this review by saying - I’ve been here many times. There are numerous things that I love, but I’ve also found some things that need improvement. I’ve driven, been by boat, visited during wine tours, and have attended different events. I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere, live music, and the wine. It isn’t my FAVORITE wine but that’s not to say it’s bad - just not my flavor. I’ll also add that I find that those responsible for coordinating events, specifically weddings, do a really wonderful job. However, I find that the quality of one’s experience varies too much. Sometimes it can be great and sometimes terrible. The quality of the food used to be very good - consistently. However more recently, not so much. During my most recent visit, I waited over an hour for food, which in turn made me late to the event I was there for - even though I made a reservation, presented on time, and expressed to the server that we were there for the event. This is disappointing because this is otherwise a unique location, with a really impressive lay out, beautiful view, and always has a great selection of liquor/wine. The live music is always really impressive as well, especially when they’re residents of the surrounding towns. This is all great, except it’s hard to plan a visit when you cannot count on the quality. I’ve always sent a lot of people this way, but after reading the responses to the reviews - I’m appalled. The owner, or whoever is running the account, seems quite literally unhinged. Any respectful business owner should accept criticism and work with their leadership to ensure better experiences for their customer base. Not every experience, every time will be grand and people are allowed to express this. Deterring people from expressing their opinions by bullying reviewers is a really distasteful business practice. It’s hard to support a business when this is what they present online. I’d personally be embarrassed. It’s a shame because it’s a wonderful place, that just requires a little growth and stability. Accepting these things is part of being a business owner, but responding with sarcasm and belittlement is downright wrong.

Amazing food. The beef brisket reuben with kimchi was fantastic. The ginger mules are amazing. Gorgeous place to spend an afternoon.

I had a terrible lunch at Colloca. We walked in and sat ourselves at 1:05…..it was slow. The we proceeded to watch 10 other tables that came in after us get served. We went back to the counter and asked politely where our food was. The woman who looked like she was in charge explained to me that she was doing the best she could and that she would tell her manager…………no manager approached us. It took her 15-20 minutes to serve everyone their meals. She served my food at 2:10 with a copy of our check to show us it was off the check. My question is “where was the manager she spoke with? We were refunded for my meal. ………..below is a picture of my Shrimp PO boy. Will not be back!SP

We dropped our child at SUNY Oswego and found this place. We visited the tasting room and had a bite to eat at the outdoor cafe. It's self-service. We loved it. There was a band playing and overall a very fun vibe.

******In response to the owners comments after my review, it is a shame you can not accept any criticism. I clearly stated that your venue was beautiful and it was a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine, but the food was not good. If you are spiteful and feel the need to bully reviewers and threaten banning them from your establishment, perhaps people reading the review will also consider your character when deciding if the want to frequent your establishment.Nice atmosphere and beautiful setting but honestly I don’t understand why people talk about the food. I’ve had some of the worst food there I’ve ever been served. Most of the staff for the kitchen are seasonal and are just reheating food that’s already been prepared or if they are preparing it fresh, it’s burned. My partner ordered a seafood dish that was actually slimy and my flatbread pizza was burned and with minimal toppings. The food definitely is not worth the money. If you want to have a glass of wine, enjoy the atmosphere, but don’t go there for good food.
