Lavagna has become our favorite restaurant in Rockland County since its opening earlier this year. We’ve had a half dozen dinners there, and recently tried their Sunday brunch. The menu is creative and contemporary, with daily specials that bring new flavor discoveries each time we visit. The wine list is extensive, thoughtfully curated, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Had lunch there with a friend. I ordered a dish of fusille and she had pizza. Both dishes featured sausage but both had only a trace of it. The wooden board on which the pizza was served was slightly moldy with black areas which affected the taste of the pizza. The waitress didn't have much a reaction to it. Food was overpriced and the experience was a disappointment. I do not recommend.

This is a local gem in Suffern. The food was amazing. We had a variety of dishes, fish, chicken, and pasta, and they were all delicious and beautifully presented. Service was perfect from beginning to end. Look forward to returning.

Seasonal updates to the menu created by Chef Anthony LoPinto transforms a swordfish special into a perfect filet atop a butternut squash purées surrounded by extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dream of. Roman style pizza with crisp cups of pepperoni, drizzled with honey. A charcuterie board of Italian and Sicilian meats, cheese, olives, house made focaccia, baguette, olives, and more! Make the trip, get a table and review the wine ample wine list and enjoy! Don’t forget the dessert and an espresso to end the evening on a harmonious note!

Our party of 4 agreed that this was one of the area’s best dining experiences. Everything the kitchen brought out was delicious! The Owner and staff ensured we were well cared for and made great recommendations based on our preferences. I had no idea the cauliflower pasta was a vegan dish as it felt so decadent. Very fun hip vibe. The Bergen county crew will be returning soon.
