We ate our final meal at Dazie's last night , unfortunately the staple of fine dining in our community has closed after decades in Sunnyside . We have many great memories in this family owned restaurant. Many warm regards to the family who's treated us as such for years. Best wishes to you in the future.Raising a shot of limoncello as we were typically greeted with to you all.
Food is OK. Missing seafood in the frutti di mare, bunch of calamari.Waiter ignored my requests and charged me $120 for cheap wine.
Great Italian restaurant that’s been serving the community for decades . Great food and great owners !
We've been coming here since the 1990s. We love the food. Great atmosphere

I live in Youngstown OhioWe have been going since 1992…The first time I went to Dazies was with 42 of my neighbors in a bus, which we rented on NYCWe have since gone there many many times with other groups and just with my family or my husband and IEach time has been a special experience with the food, the atmosphere and Raymond being a hostWe are going to New York City next November for the Macy’s parade with Ohio State alumniWe will be going to Dazies again ❤️
The food was delicious and staff were very helpful. I recommend Dazies to everyone who wants a great meal
I went to this restaurant yesterday and it had a bad smell like a funeral home and in the table it was flowers that stink. They need to change the rugs to we left without ordering food my stomach was upset by the smell never again will I go there.
I was really surprised by how good the food was - the interior is pretty drab and outdated, but the calamari, chicken parm and tartufo were all really good!
Ive been going here for over 20 years. The food never changes... it's always spectacular. The ambiance is great for a romantic dinner or a party of 10. The wait staff is knowledgeableof all the dishes and nightly specials.

Was so looking forward to coming here! Unfortunately everything we got was underwhelming. Large rings of rubbery old (not so) fried calamari, $30 entrees that have are equivalent to buffet quality. Nothing tasted fresh, nothing tasted seasoned. The menu is nothing special. Classic we thought so ordered some staples thinking they’d be done amazingly but no, they weren’t anything special and far from delicious. I don’t know how this place gets so many good reviews. Must be the nostalgia aspect. I’m writing this review so management does something about food quality. It really put a damper on the night since we planned this meal for a special occasion and all we got was Overpriced, uninspired, mediocre bland food. I’ll give 2 stars for the polite and courteous staff and ambiance but the food was some of the worst Italian food I’ve had in a long time
This is literally one of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. Great family and great food. Always have a great when I’m there.
Little disappointed with the meal. Staff was very nice
50 years to the day. Students from Aviation High School, two blocks away, that were part of 'The Odd Couple" met to celebrate. Included were three teachers that were part of this production. The restaurant could not have been more accommodating. We had an enclosed area for the twenty of us. The food, the service, the ambience was fantastic!
Food and service both excellent
