I Love Paraguay Restaurant

I love this place! I’m gonna give 4 starts this time because since I don’t live in NYC I try to stop by every time I’m in town for work and this time I did the same, wanted to get a puchero since it was a chilly and cloudy day. I waited for puchero day on their soup menu and when I got there they were “out” of it. I believe it to be true of course, the sever was super nice and all but I think if you’re out of it, you make more. Especially if you’re are in the customer service industry, and especially with food. Flavor here is always good, a little overpriced but I think going there every one in a while is totally worth ir. I ended up just getting mbeju with cocido which was very tasty!

Really nice restaurant with a awesome vibe. They had a musician come by playing the harp and definitely made the highlight of the night. The chicken sandwiches were really good and the empanadas were really nice. I'd go back.

Sorry to give a poor review, but when I ask if the groundbeef and Yuca patty is made with onion and two wait staff explicitly say no, followed by me gagging on finely ground onion and the staff trying to say it's only scallions. No, sorry it's a lovely little restaurant but you have failed the most basic aspect of caring for your customers.

Really special place to eat! Great food, friendly atmosphere and live music. Everyone who works here that we interacted with was so kind, and the service was above and beyond. Food is very authentic.

It’s an incredible warm place, the atmosphere is so soothing, the service was amazing and the food even more. Every single dish is simply delicious and authentic Paraguayan flavor ♥️

This Paraguayan spot is awesome! The sopa paraguaya and Tallarín are super tasty and filling. The vibe is cozy, and the staff are really friendly. Perfect place to try authentic Paraguayan food without any fuss. Great value for the quality.

My very first time eating at I Love Paraguay restaurant and it was extremely wonderful to experience. I really loved the cocido and the food was amazing! I really loved the overall relaxing vibes and the beautiful decor of Paraguayan nature and the calming music of the place. It feels like a great getaway to relax and enjoy some time for yourself and even better if you bring along family and friends. Thank you very much for the amazing experience!!!

Absolutely loved this place - everything from the food, to the service, to the homey local restaurant atmosphere was perfect. The chipa and cocido were delicious as are their empanadas. Our waitress Rita was such a sweetheart and so knowledgeable, would definitely come back! Saludos❤️

Rita was the best! It was our first time coming here and she was so nice to explain all the items, give great recommendations, and she was the nicest person. The food was bomb and I would 10000000% go back, this place is a 10/10.
