I ordered some pandebono for breakfast and they tasted like pure food, like dirt and dust. I don't recommend them at all

There have been two times that they have wanted to charge me for extra drinks and it has always been the same waitress, that does not speak well of the place ? ?? check carefully what they charge to your account!!

A beautiful place to remember the gastronomy of Colombia. The staff is very friendly and they help you celebrate special occasions as well.

Kid-friendliness: On the menu there is a children's menu or you can ask for less portion for children.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are two entrances for people in wheelchairs

Not a bad colombian restaurant.. it's your average local neighborhood. The issue that I have with this place, is how abusive they are in a very nonchalant way, whrn it cones to giving you change, when paying in cash.
Every time, I pick up food, have to argue for the pennies. It's not the money BUT the principle, that they clain NEVER TO HACE CHANGE. So they need to keep the pennies.. 1, 2, 3.4... and maybe a penny here, a penny there, wpuld not be a big deal...BUT.. it's their MO and when u call then in it. They pretend that you're annoying, and upsetting them.
Just tonight.. they were supposed to give me $ 75.09 cents.
The cashier gave me a nickel, 0.5 cents and apologize for not having more change. I asked her how much it was, at what she said....4 cents...so,I said...how about u give me my 4 cents..then she repeated that they had no pennies.
Then, I said.. well.. then give me a nickel.. thst way u loss one cent and I don't lose 4 cents.
All of the sudden,.. they found rolls of pennies and ga e my my 4 cents.
So it was ok for me to lose 4 cents...but not for them to lose 1 cent.
And this is not the first time it happens... ...and on top of things.. they add an operating charge.... but don'texplain what thst charge is for.

You can eat there...but be very.. very mindful and review your bill before paying without checking it..

I went to place an order to go and 3 people in the small booth where they have a girl looked at me and no one cared to ask if I needed anything for more than 2 minutes. I felt stupid standing by the door waiting to be seated or even asked.

La Pollera de Mario was a pleasant discovery in the Sunnyside neighborhood. Colombian cuisine is not that common even in the diversity of NYC restaurants. They have affordable daily specials. The fish fillet (filete de pescado, $12.95 plus tax) was light, moist and tender and came with rice and beans. Service was warm and gracious. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively.
