Placed an order from Senso Unico's catering menu for an event -- the owners were helpful, responsive, and the food was delicious. Everyone loved the food. Highly recommend!

Food was very very salty, i asked for it to be replaced iand the guy did not like the idea at all he said that it was the cheese or some sort of cheese comment not sure?. I felt bad for another couple seating in front of us because they came to have a good time and when they tasted the food i could read their minds with their face expression!. Anyways they change my dish for another one and it was salty as well. I had to add water. Will never go there again.

Not only is Senso Unico an excellent restaurant to have a delicious meal, it is also a great place to host an event! I hosted my daughter's 1st birthday there and it was wonderful. The space, the food, the service were all incredible. The front wall of the restaurant fully retracts so you can even have some fresh air ventilation if you're concerned about Covid. We had about 40 people but they can host up to 72. There was even plenty of space for the kids to run around and be entertained by a balloon twister. The owners, Laura and Vincenzo, were so great and easy to work with - even when we had to cancel the original party we had planned in May due to Covid, and again when we had about 8 guests cancel the morning of our rescheduled party due to Covid. Can't thank them enough for their warmth and hospitality!

Excellent dinner. Pasta special with linguine, lemon cream sauce and peas was excellent. Others had the rigatoni bolognese which was very tasty. Arancini was a great appetizer. Service was top notch. Very efficient and polite.

I was here years ago when they first opened with my father and we enjoyed our meals. It was near closing and a round of Lemoncello was sent to our table by the charming women at the bar. Nice night over all in every way. We went back lately for my fathers birthday in the afternoon and had a completely different experience. My father started with a coffee as we looked at the menu that was gruffly handed to us. We were the only people in the place other than a group of approx ten for a birthday get together of their own. Apparently my father and I were an inconvenience. My father asked to have a hot cup of coffee in which it was replaced by a slightly warmer cup. Ugg...really? Apps were OK at best. My beef ragù was insipid and skimpy. I barely remember what Dad had, neither does he. We should have left after the second cup of cold coffee. Maybe we were early. If so, they say so, don't just wing it and take peoples hard earned money.

Ordered this on doordash and was honestly fantastic and way better than I would've expected. Rigatoni alla bolognese tasted fresh and high quality, al dente, just big enough for 1 person, though definitely not enough to share. And WOW the tiramisu is so so great. Made in-house with large portion, definitely enough to share for 2.

We loved the experience here. Surprisingly fast service despite the exceptional quality of the food. It was fresh and delicious. The staff are all respectful and friendly.

We were very excited to try this restaurant so yesterday we ordered a delivery of Stracciatella, Rigatoni alla Bolognese and Salmon with veggies. We felt very disappointed that the focaccia was not fresh, very hard to eat. The portion of the rigatoni was very small and with little sauce. The only good was the salmon. Even the bread they sent us was not fresh. In addition to this the bartender or waiter who attended me was not friendly at all. He didn't even tell my order was ready on the table so I was waiting there until another waiter asked me if that food on the table was mine. Very disappointed and very pricey for what I have received. Not coming back!

Went here for dinner on a Wednesday night with a party of 8. It was a pleasant experience. Nice staff, dimly lit environment, and no loud blaring music. The food was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their plates - no complaints. I had a mango margarita that was also delicious. They were nice enough to store a birthday cake we had and then cut up slices/serve us as well. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come out, but that's okay since we all ordered a wide variety from the menu. Good for conversations. I thoroughly enjoyed my Fusilli Avellinsi plate. Perfect sized portions as well.

I've been here 3 times in 4 weeks time. I'm looking forward to going back. We went during Restaurant Week which was perfect. I had the arancini & it was delicious, although the second time I went it was overdone and yes, as Navdeep B pointed out, there wasn't much rice in the rice balls. THEY STILL TASTED GREAT! I also had their chicken cutlet with smoked mozzarella & arugula. WONDERFUL! Chocolate flourless cake? FANTASTIC! Rigatoni in marinara sauce? SENSATIONAL! The staff are friendly and very busy.

Been meaning to try this place for awhile now, so glad i finally did. Amazing food!! we had the Arancini and prosciutto focaccia. The arancini was OUT of this world!!! Wish there were more than 3 to an order! Our dinners Spaghetti Vongole and Sausage Truffle pasta were also equally amazing. Great local place, owner was super friendly and welcoming. Will be back soon!!

Great food and service but I have been here twice since early December and was not asked to show proof of vaccination either time. The first time they never even brought it up but there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant. Most recently (about a week ago) there were a handful of tables with patrons. We were asked if we were vaccinated but when we went to show the waiter he said "No, it's okay. You don't have to show me. I just have to ask". I ordered from them often for take out when they couldn't have indoor dining and I want to pull for them but this is super disappointing. They are putting their guests at risk. I, unfortunately, won't be back.

This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. However, as I start to break down every course to write this review I realized not all the courses were phenomenal. The difference is, when you have great service, pretty great food, and great company, altogether make a great meal. When you walk out of a restaurant and you feel like it's money well spent, that's a great feeling. I think it's been a while since I felt that. We ordered the meatballs and bruschetta (they were happy hour prices) along with the carpaccio as an appetizer, gnocchi with mushroom ragout and took advantage of the restaurant week menu and order the Arancini, linguine with peas cooked in a Parmesan wheel, and the flourless chocolate cake. They started off with a delicious rustic bread with olive oil and vinegar, then we got the meatballs which were small but extremely tasty, the meat was pretty close to being perfect, not overworked, not too soft, not too dense. However, the bruschetta was slightly under seasoned and I am the missing garlic and basil. That Arancini was fantastic! This is probably one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. So crispy on the outside and melted gooey deliciousness on the inside and it was served with a little side of tomato sauce which was needed because the sauce was fresh and unseasoned but Arancini was a little salty so it was the perfect balance. I was slightly disappointed with the carpaccio as it could've used a hit of acid and a maybe a couple of capers.,..that would've put it over the top. It was delicious nonetheless. My gnocchi with mushroom ragout was really good, are they little pillows of heaven? No but they came pretty close but the Ragu was out of this world. The combination of wild mushrooms, and chanterelles that were cooked to perfection. They had a great bite to them and was deeeelicious! The linguine cooked in the Parmesan wheel with that hit of lemon really made a heavy dish taste light. Unfortunately, it was pretty cold in the restaurant and two minutes later the pasta was ice cold. (they really need to turn the heat up when it's 20° outside) The flourless chocolate cake was ok, a little too dense, a little dry, but not too sweet. Would go back? Absolutely!

I went to Senso Unico on a Tuesday night when it wasn't particularly busy. There were about two or three more tables of patrons in the dining area. Unfortunately there was only one server, but he did a great job and the service was tremendous. For appetizers, my friends and I split the arancini, the burrata, and ordered the truffle fries. Our order must have gotten mixed up because we received meatballs instead of the fries, but they were good so it doesn't matter. I got the mushroom gnocchi with a limoncello mojito, and my friends got the salmon with red wine, the ravioli, and the bolognese. The food was out of the world. We made the decision to stay for dessert, and I got the tiramisu. I haven't had tiramisu that good in 4 years. I could have had 20 more of them right then and there. It was beautiful. My friends got the flourless chocolate cake, the banana gelato, and the chocolate gelato. Everything was lovely. Would definitely come again.
