One of the worst experiences I had at a restaurant. Waited for 1 and a half hour for the food. Even after that 3 out of 4 people got their food and forgot about the other person. Never got one of our appetizers as well. AVOID!! Really bad service!!

I OVERPAID 22 $ EXTRA WHEN THE CASHIER CALLED ME BACK FROM MY TABLE AFTER I HAD SETTLED THE BILL TO PAY EXTRA MONEY AND WHEN I WENT HOME I REALIZED I OVERPAID. I CALLED ON 13TH MARCH AGAIN, NOBODY RESPONDED TILL TODAY 14TH MARCH UNTILL I CALLED RESTAURANT ABOUT 1930 HRS. CASHEIR DENIES WITH ARROGANCE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE AND ANGRY TONE. FOR ME IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL AT ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, BUT ABOUT HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WILL APPRECIATE THE MANAGER ACTING ON THIS.THANKS.TO THE OWNER,I HAD PAID AND FULLY SETTLED FOR BOTH THE TABLES IN FULL BEFORE RELAXING BACK ON MY TABLE. THE GIRL ARJU AND THE CASHEIR HAD PROBABLY COUNTED TWICE THE TOTAL AMOUNT INFRONT OF ME. SHE GAVE ME CHANGE BACK FROM THE TOTAL I PAID FOR BOTH THE TABLES. Friend who lives in the area and had been here several times brought me for dinner. It was absolutely delicious! We had the vegetable pekora as an appetizer - super delicious with a very tasty sauce, and we shared 2 paneer dishes: the Tangra paneer and another one which I can't remember now. The Tangra paneer was fabulous, like nothing I've ever had before. A thin garlicky, spicy sauce. Paneer was firm and the perfect texture. Friendly service. Love the colorful and quirky ambiance. Will definitely go back!—-Made a return trip a few weeks after the visit above and it was FABULOUS! Extremely flavorful, delicious, very friendly service. My favorite restaurant in NYC. Low prices, excellent fusion of Indian and Chinese. Wish I lived closer!

I ordered take out, one Tangra masala fried rice, one regular fried rice, chili chicken, one garlic chicken. It was take out and approximately 7 pm. It was for my toddler my wife and my parents. I ate the Tangra masala fried rice and immediately next day had stomach pain. Then I asked if my wife had similar problem, she said the same thing. She had stomach pain and diarrhea. Never again!!!!
Today was my special day for us. They ( ishika) ruined our dinner .My only one son’s birthday. I always go to Tangra any occasion. I live 40 th street other side of Tangra. Today I have worst experience. My fried rice, noodles was salty . When I make complaint about it she tries to change it with her attitude.she was taking to my husband so badly manners. This not the costume service . And she charged me more. We pay all the service which one we receive nothing free. We should not expect this kind stupid service in this location. In the future if I saw her I will change my mind to go there.
