Great meal. We were out for our Sunday drive and stopped in about mid afternoon for an early dinner. They were not real busy and we were seated right off. Our waitress was wonderful....very friendly and took great care of us. We both had their Turkey dinner which was fresh turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots & cranberry sauce. This was served with your choice of soup or salad and rolls. Excellent!

Visited the canal view Cafe is fall and it was perfect. Really nice view of the canal and Oneida lake. Plenty of parking as it was really quiet. The restaurant was perfect. Friendly servers, great price and the Mediterranean plate was excellent. It's a diner but they did have a great selection of wine too choose from.

Food was excellent props to the Chefs!! Front of the house mostly the hostess and whomever was suppose to be at the desk was very unaware we were waiting to be seated! Alot of people left due to be ignored..same thing happened another time we where there. Waitress was great!

The service poor gave my husband app before getting our drinks she did not give my soup to me until I asked no crackers . The broiled fish made me feel sick with way to much butter to greasy and mush .the menu says you get rolls and she said no not with haddock so I read the menu again and with all seafood you get bread. Let's see I wonder it the state realizes how over capacity you are you can't even walk you are shoving tables together and you can't even sit without hitting someone behind you. I can't believe you are loud that many people I think that needs addressing. The chicken sandwich was so dry and hard to swallow. Wont be back

Walk in there on a sunday afternoon. Busy but plenty of seating. We weren’t greeted right away. We stood there for a few before the hostess said something to us that someone will be with us shortly. They sat us close to the kitchen so and i sat on the side next to the kitchen door. Everytime someone had to walk by, i had to duck/move so that they would have more room. I’m pretty small. Can’t imagine anyone bigger would enjoy sitting on tjat side.
Our server was great and attentive. She was a bit overwhelmed. Calamari was good. I ordered a delmonico steak on a bread. That was not good at all. Not medium rare like what i asked. It has a weird flavor to it too. Mashed potatoes need more seasoning. I didn’t understand the sweetened carrot, didn’t like that at all. I had cheddar and broccoli soup for side. That was sorta gross too. It was so thick.
The bill was expected. I don’t mind paying for good food. But that was not it at all. Lastly, we wanted to get seprate checks but i guess we should’ve said something but no biggie on that aspect, they fixed it right away.
Overall, the experience was as okay. The food was not good. Our server didnt ask if how’s our food even though she saw me not eating most of my food. She may have known why.
Will i be back? No. Not sure there are many good options in that area though.
