The wait staff were friendly. The food was absolutely disgusting. Prime rib was very thin and fatty didn't finish no flavor. Everything was way over priced. Crab is definitely frozen and over cooked.

First time ever going to Captain John's and I don't think I'll need to go back. Our waitress was wonderful and that's about where the praise stops. I got the chicken parmegan and it was so pounded so thin I think there was more breading than chicken which made it very, very tough to eat. My girlfriend had the fish fry which she said was OK. I also had the coconut shrimp, which was $15 dollars for 5 shrimp. Really? And I think this is the first place I have ever gone to that you have to PAY for the souvenir glass you can get with a mixed drink. There are way better restaurants in Sylvan Beach to eat that have better prices. Good luck if you decide to go here.

Our server, Destiny, was so friendly and despite being incredibly busy, rendered excellent service. The food was served in a timely, but not rushed manner. My prime rib, though not thick, was tender and done as I requested.
The shrimp on my husband's pasta were large and tender and the clams tasty. A lovely birthday dinner.

My dad and I went out to eat here yesterday! Neither of us ever ate here before but we decided to try it out. We got there and immediately got seated, and the staff were amazing. Everybody was so kind, and the server we had, Brady, was absolutely amazing.
(My dad was also really impressed with him, and even said to me that our server Brady was the first good server he's had in at least 30 years). The food was amazing, we shared a Rodeo BBQ burger and I think it was one of the BEST burgers I've ever had, genuinely.
The decor was AMAZING!! It was so cool inside, both decoration wise and temperature as well lol. We are definitely coming back to eat here again in the future!!

Captain John greeted us at the front door. His energy and personality are phenomenal. The atmosphere was fun. The Parrot Punch was outstanding. The food was excellent, especially the cheesecake made with Grandma's recipe. The service was terrific. Overall, super fun and enjoyable time. Will be back.

Where do I start?! Captain John is a great guy!! Welcomed us with open arms, posed for a photo with my hubby & I... & checked on us at our table a couple of times!! Awesome food & drinks!!! Brady was a phenomenal waiter/server... The world needs more workers like him... He certainly has set the bar high with his exceptional service that's for sure & he goes above & beyond!! Brady was super friendly, helpful & often checked on us to see if we needed more drinks, wanted dessert or anything else he could get for us!! Great guy with a warm friendly smile... 5 stars for you!! Thanks for everything!!
