I had an absolutely delightful experience at this Mexican restaurant. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a lively and **energetic crowd** of young diners. The ambiance was vibrant, and the aroma of sizzling fajitas filled the air. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu boasted an impressive array of dishes, but my taste buds were particularly drawn to the **Diablo fries**. These crispy, seasoned fries were like a flavor explosion in my mouth! The perfect balance of heat and savory goodness left me craving more. And let's not forget the cocktails! The bartenders here are true mixology artists. I sampled their signature margarita, and it was a revelation. The tangy lime, the hint of salt, and that smooth tequila--it was a symphony of flavors. Overall, this place is a gem for anyone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine and a lively atmosphere. Whether you're catching up with friends or having a date night, this restaurant ticks all the boxes. I'll definitely be back for more!

It's been six years since I've been here. I was going to a concert at the Wescott Theatre next door so we thought we'd hit up Alto Cinco beforehand. Last time I was here I really like the place. You know how sometimes you like something and you haven't had it in a while and you remember it being better than it was? Now imagine the opposite of that!!! It was better than I remembered. There's is the gold standard of nachos! Very cool atmosphere albeit a bit crowded (because of the concert). I look forward to going there again......soon!!!

Seven diners, three children. Interesting menu, nominally real food. College town atmosphere, could have used a high chair. Food came out quickly.

The bartenders are awesome, the ambience is better than most of armory square, close to home.I love their fried calamari its delicious. Grilled Shrimp never disappoints. Drink menu is different and the alternative is still awesome. The smiths sometimes are played and I’m a huge fan so alto cinco has my heart

Consistent and fairly priced. Nice atmosphere without being uptight or giving you the feeling you under-dressed. Plenty to choose from whether you like savory, salty or spicy. Not for those looking for authentic or traditional Mexican cuisine, this is a spot for something fun and different. The Catfish Burrito is must-try. Good cocktail selection and a few taps as well. I've lived right around the corner for almost seven years and I can say that some restaurants on Westcott will have good days and bad days, but Alto Cinco is consistently nothing short of great.Parking: Small neighborhood, small streets. Medium parking lot half a block away.

Tasty Mexican, solid draft beer list, good ambience. Always make it a point to grab a beer and a burrito here when I’m in Syracuse.

I went to Syracuse University 20 years ago and I’m STILL craving their Rock Shrimp burrito. The best EVER. So happy they’re still open.

Great food. Their salsa & chips were delicious. Same goes for the Jerk Chicken Burrito with red sauce, tons of flavor. All the ingredients (Chips, salsa, Burrito) were so fresh tasting. Great waitress as well. The atmosphere is good but our table next to the entrance in 10° weather...Brrrrrr when that door opened. (Not all their fault as all tables were taken). The Enchiladas & tacos others at our table had??also.
