Apizza Regionale exceeded all of my expectations, despite a previous missed opportunity to visit and three months of anticipation. I had a perfect seat at the bar and the bartender (Ciara?) was friendly, welcoming, and genuine and made a pleasant dining experience even better. The Calabrian was the best possible version of this popular pizza. My only regret was that after a long day of work and a longer day of travel looming, I could not spend more time and money with my new friends...
I thought going to Apizza early enough (around 5 PM) meant we would not need a reservation. But it was a Friday and also Parents' Weekend and the place was jumping. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, which was understandable. Unfortunately, we then had to wait at least 10-15 minutes more before any server came to our table. We could see the two servers running around, neither of them even looking our way, so I don't know if they were just short-staffed that...
Always amazing food and service! The staff is so friendly and ajeays has great recommendation. The pizza is the best I've ever had. It's one of our stops every trip to Syracuse. We are on our second child at SU, so lots of trips still to come - so excited!
